How do we ensure with configuration at Commvault end that backup remains intact if the failover happen to secondary node on Availability group, but backup gets failed as "Failed to fetch availability group replicas from primary replicas"
Ensure on the AG group the backup is set to run on the secondary replica and in Commvault ensure to set all the nodes in Commvault configuration so it can detect which one is primary replica and which one is secondary. I believe you can also enable option to backup data from primary replica when secondary is offline.
I have try to configure as per the video, but i have facing error while taking the backup "Failed to to create the SQL shadow for database" Could you please share any steps for solve this issue.
@@CorpVault Hai I have checked the option VSS option is already in unchecked condition only still i have getting same issue, Failed to create sql shadow database
Is it possible for you to send sqlida log from client computer to corpvaultz@gmail.com so we can check and update. For sure you are not using VSS right? Also the location where SQL files located have enough free space in them?

Hi Adarsh, it looks you are using VSS for DB backups. Disable the option and it should work.
