Yes, you can give it a try. No harm adding DIP even they have one NIC.

We got Failed to quiesce sidb stores for creating a snap for Linux MA Can you help what exactly we need to check
Cause This error may happen during DDB Backup when DDB host volume is offline or shadow copy storage size limit is exceeded due to a high data change rate on the DDB files during a DDB Backup. Resolution Make sure DDB host volume is online and accessiable. Increase the maximum size limit for shadow copy storage on the DDB host volume. By default, this value is set as 10% of the capacity of the Drive. Double the current size to give more space for the shadow volume to grow. Care should be taken to limit it to a Maximum of 50% of the Capacity of the Drive. Restart Backup.

I have some doubt with question 2. I my option correct answer is B. Some explanation: RDM drives not support snapshot creation in VMware. So VSA cannot protect that drive. In C we have only disk level recovery, what is incorrect, because we can recovery disks, VMs, files and folders from VM backup what is even mentioned in the video.

How to remove a server from schedule
You identify the schedule to which the client is associated by right-clicking on the client- view - schedules. Later, go to policies - schedules, look for the schedule and edit it to remove the client association to the schedule.

Under what circumstances will you need to seal a DDB?
You need to seal DDB when (1) you got issues with backup failing with DDB and the DDB can't repair/reconstruct. (2) Data Aging issues (3) have to work with libraries associated with dedupe (Ex. De-com a data path associated with dedupe disk libraries) (4) block size issues, etc.
At the time of Commvault Server disconvery from the client , it is failing to communicate with Commserver
It is due to connectivity issues. Check the IP settings if they are assigned correctly.

I am not sure of the log file name, but it is recorded in the logs. Ideally it is checked in the GUI before and after running the Reclamation job.

You get then from Commvault Maintenance Advantage site. There is a video on it. You can download using Bootstrap. Other way is using Commvault cloud site.
