We have deleted some job schedules on Commserv. if we use staging recovery option on production network - can we get back the jobs we performed, can we still be able to communicate to libraries on production to import index tapes and view the content and perform a restore too? will this work?
How to restore dr backup to newly bulid commserver. As I can see in video it's copied from effected commserver. But if commserver is not available then how to copy the dr backup from the effected comm server. Please help me on this

Hi fowroz This will recover only commserve. To understand the MA recovery, we need to understand how MA components (index DB and DDB) get recovered. If you have understanding of index recovery and DDb recovery then it will be easy to understand recovery of MA
Its in the same way that you apply on old commserver! Copy DR files to new commserver ( assuming commserve package already installed on new server) and perform DR restore process

When you recover in staging mode, it will modify settings on sql so that it can’t communicate to production commserve.
