I absolutely love the wind blown geese. What a fantastic pattern. I'm going to have to add it to the idea book. Happy to see my community blocks made it to you. I hope they enjoyed the scenic route 😂
Yes I have a few Christmas quilts but one in particular is a favorite. Just a rag quilt but it’s the perfect weight, I love it. Fun video! Have a great week!
You are SO busy creating it’s motivating me to jump into my sewing room! A Christmas quilt sounds too ambitious! Ha ha! I’ll start with a basket! Looking forward to the tiny houses 🏠
I started cutting my fabric for stars and realized I needed more light batik. Got stuck there for a while so started making clothes. Ordered more fabric. Now perennial gardens need work. Good to see you were busy.
Really love your *Christmas Stars* quilt top and so many fun fabrics. Those Canada blocks are fab - still waiting for my fabric to arrive (about 2 more weeks) - I've not sewn since my last blocks! Hopefully the *tiny houses* will get me back into a sewing mode again, but I have been busy in the garden🌻- Stars⭐, Geese🐣, Houses🏘 are calling my name 😆 Loved seeing your recent projects 🪡🧵
Thank you. It’s a busy time of year for most people. I don’t have a veggie or flower garden to take care of. I don’t even have grass to mow here 😆. Hopefully the tiny houses are blocks that people can squeeze in here and there.
I have made a Christmas table topper and a tote bag made with blocks using Christmas fabrics. Before I moved, I had my Christmas fabrics in it, but I am currently using it as a project bag. I am looking forward to making the fabric bins. ❤😊
Storing holiday fabrics in tote bags is a great idea. It makes them easy to pull out and look through. I was determined to not use fabric baskets but now I’m excited to give them a try. To use up those scraps and to brighten the black bookcase.
Nope, I have never made a ticker tape anything. I'm not a fan of small pieces, they upset me trying to put them into piles, etc. Luckily my city has a fabric recycle so it goes on to be carpet elsewhere. yay. Enjoying your video while having my coffee before I go to my sewing space to try and finish a couple gifts for great nephew, who is 4. That Christmas quilt turned out great! Yes, I have a Christmas quilt a friend made in quilt club but she hated it so I did the finish work and I like it very much! She used a big 2 inch fluff batting which I never would have thought of but it's fantastic! I love it
Thanks! The Christmas stars were fun to sew. I’d like to make a version for myself. You can cheat and use larger bits for the ticker tape quilt. After 3” the squares just become appliqué pieces 😉
One of my first quilts was a Christmas braid quilt. It came out nicely. I lost it in the last two moves but so glad I found it while looking for something else of course Your. Wandering geese sure came out great. Love your colors
Really liked your Christmas stars! And I think the idea of dinosaurs for Christmas is interesting. I did have a Christmas quilt but unfortunately the ex took it with him. I really resent that because I’m much better friends with the woman who gave it to me. But that’s the way it goes. Karma will take care of this. Eventually. I missed the basket making video so I’m definitely gonna have to go back and watch that! It was strange to see you in a white T-shirt! I just realized that I don’t think I’ve ever seen you in anything but bright colors before. I always enjoy your videos thank you so much for sharing them. 😊❤😊
Thank you. It’s actually a very light grey tshirt but It does read as white. You’re right, not usually my colors but when I bought new t-shirts during a recent sale I decided to go ahead and grab some greys in various shades. That’s a shame about the Christmas quilt. Karma will take care of It at some point.
We do not have a Christmas quilt. If We did it would most likely be used year round, as I would keep forgetting to pull it out. We also live in an apartment with little storage.
So pretty. Because i hv FOMO, please be gently reminded that i changed my patreon gift status to YES and my address to TN. But Im sure u r on it! I admire your organizational skills AND your creativity.

That Christmas stars top is going to be a beautiful quilt when it is finished. I watched this yesterday and have now forgotten the scrappy word...LOL
🤣 i do the same thing all of the time.
I asked about Christmas quilts. Have you sewn one? Do you use a Christmas quilt around Christmas?
I don't have a Christmas quilt, but I could make one as I will need one soon. Thanks ❤️
Whenever I'm doing a mystery quilt-a-long, I like to do a theme quilt. I did Christmas and Halloween quilts last year.
You’re welcome 😊
That’s really smart. Thanks for sharing
Each week you have beautiful things to show. It's so inspiring! ❤
Thank you so much!
Your work is just amazing Robin.
Thank you so much 💜

I think your blocks had a fine time traveling 😎 The envelope and blocks were in perfect condition so I think they just took a scenic route 🏝️
Good morning Robin!

🤣 A basket sounds good to me too. Have fun!
It is fun to come see what you are up to on Wednesday. It doesn’t matter if making it or not.
Thanks Connie.

I use every scrap down to .75 x 2.5 which get sewn on to adding machine tape.
I haven’t touch my adding machine tape project in far too long. Maybe this summer 🤞
