so was this already good to go right off the lot? I see all these vans and everyone is putting them together themselves.. im sure that's awesome, but I just want it to be ready to go with bathroom and bed and all the stuff
Very good presentation; no repeating, no stammering, concise, and informative. That’s the military and legal training coming through on the presentation. Watching from NW Indiana near Chicago.
Thank you for your van tour. You seem totally organized and don’t waster time repeating everything ten times. You are now my favorite Travato commentator.
Ahh man Rolf...what a really nice comment - you made my morning. I thought this video was way too long...but I tried to be brief. Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment - really appreciate it.
First off, Thank You for your service. Navy family here. Husband and I had the opportunity to really pick through one of these at an rv show in Toledo, OH just before covid hit. We were very surprised by the ease of livability and convenient features this model is equipped with. We had been set on a Mercedes Sprinter Chasis 24ft class c, this nearly changed our minds. We want to stay on the small side for distance trips, but need the extra sleeping space if daughter and grandbaby need to travel with us to visit our son in the NW after overseas 3yr deployment is up. We have a year to get set up. Great content, we appreciate the info you share with your viewers and look forward to future videos. Wishing you safe and healthy travels. Go Navy!
Thanks for your families service as well...being a family member is much harder than being the service member in my humble opinion. Safe travels to your family as well. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Just found you and I love a Dodge (have a Dodge Grand Caravan now) and my new favorite is the travato and watching from Northampton Massachusetts! I am going to keep on dreaming for a camper van!
Just retired and the wife and I have started looking at something to tour around the country in. Yours is the first that came across my path and I have to say I enjoyed your video very much. There is a lot to consider when purchasing a travel vehicle. Very informative. Thanks.
He worked hard for it and missed lots of fun living doing it! 20 years military and went on to law school. That takes resolve and sacrifice! We wish him the best of life; he deserves it!
Some tips, take steel wool and plug every hole under the van that mice can get into. Turn off your water pump after every use so it does not flood the van with a leak when you are gone. Don't hook up to city water for the same reason, run off your tank. Stick an Amazon $7 Tuff Level cross level on the base of the passenger seat so you can park level easily. Buy an Amazon $20 Ronxs electric usb rechargeable lighter for lighting the stove. Good video!
You are a great tour guide.....you give excellent information without carrying on to much...I can see why your channel is taking off. Enjoy your travels and be safe!
Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Seinfeld.....wow, all my favorite shows! And I love that the bathroom is all the way in the back, totally removed from the living area. NICE!
haha...those shows are like chicken soup for the soul for me! Yeah, I like that the bathroom is in the back as well...give me such an open feel in the living space. I love it. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment, Avi. Really appreciate it.
The Military turned you into a “NEAT FREAK”! That’s a good thing! My husband spent 31yrs in the Military, he keeps his things very neat also. Thank you for your service!
I enjoyed your enthusiasm. Not planning on buying an RV. I don't drive, but enjoy the videos. Childhood and young adult memories of caravans in the 50s to 70s. Watching in UK.

So you did change one pretty complex career to another after 20 years. That is impressive. And you are in a pretty good physical condition. This is great.
Seinfeld! One of the best shows ever. As I get older there seems to be less people around me who get the Seinfeld references I drop, “not that there’s anything wrong with that!”
I'm a huge Seinfeld fan. But I'm surprised to hear you say that these days fewer people get your references, since the show is in such widespread syndication. "Moops! It's _Moops!"_
Saw one of these RVs at my local RV dealership in Liberty Lake, WA (close to Spokane Valley). It was definitely out of our price range (I'm a retired Kindergarten teacher). Great video! Keep up the great work, and thank you for your service to our country! Blessings, Bob
What a beautiful set up you have ,don’t you love the helpful hints people give ,like the peppermint, hands down that works , what away to live , I appreciate your video it is helpful for me to see what will work for me .
Hey regarding the rodent devices we use those too and a friend of ours who is an exterminator advised us to also use super strong peppermint mixed with water and spray it under our RV. We also put it in cotton balls in our compartments. We had generator damage in our old RV from mice which was expensive. They will go after engine wiring too I’ve heard. I’ve seen people put solar motion lights under their RV when camping in the desert (they are supposedly more aggressive there for nesting). We left rope lights on under our RV last winter when we stored it in addition to using the other items and it kept them out. The peppermint makes your rig smell good too
There's so much to the nomads c life and I read all these helpful hints that n the comment section but it's to the point, I should start a notebook just for my future skoolie and put all these hints in it

ProTip: have a large sheet or curtain to separate between the two beds for when you have a guest. It may not bother you to be so close, but your guest isn't going to tell you if they're actually pretty uncomfortable with it, so you could fix that easy with just a sheet.
Watching from San Francisco, California. My wife and are planning on retiring on the next couple of years and our plan is to hit the road on one of these babies. We just started shopping around and your tour of your van was very helpful. Best of luck to you 🤜🏻

Just a tip if you decide to keep the Sirius radio after your year is up. Give them a call and tell them you need a better price to renew. I don't always get the same deal but it's always about half of what they publish.
Awesome! I've spent a lot of time in Singapore and was just there a few months ago. I miss the food soooooo much! Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch and comment, Thomas.
When your Sirius expires you have to call about a week before it expires and tell them you're going to cancel, they'll throw a bunch of different deals at you and you can figure out how much you want to pay. If you don't call they'll charge you like $30 or more a month but if you call you could get 3 to 6 months for $30 to $50 depends cause less people are driving, you could get a better deal. Hi Kevin! It was great to meet you on Burnin' Up the Roads interview today (Oct 22, 2020). This was a great tour of your Travato. I've been on Winnebago's website checking this unit out. Glad you compared floor plans and told us why you chose yours. Winnebago should hire you! Great job. Friendly, easy, not aggressive. Great videography. Thorough. Ahhh you are too kind! That comment made my day. I've been to the UAE many times....love it...such amazing cities and beautiful deserts. Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch and comment, Mohamed.
The television show is called , “ Seinfeld “ , being originally from New York City, but not there now I don’t remember what station it was on. An interesting point of fact is that in every episode of Seinfeld there is at least one belly laugh. Of course there are plenty of little laughs and giggles.
Great tour, that was Seinfeld, my favorite show also , I’ve watched every episode 10x’s. Pretty sure that episode was were Elaine was staying at Jerry’s and he was robbed 😁
Great video, the best I've seen. A couple years ago my son took a 2016 59G around the country to see all the National Parks. He put on 59,000 miles without a hiccup. It's a great machine, have fun!
I have that electric tennis racquet lol. Go Navy! I'm the 2020 MSOY for the navy. Out here in okinawa. Congrats on the travato. I'm going to get that or a revel once stateside. Maybe a gl NPE I'm not sure I dig the K. Great channel. Oh MTV Cribs and Seinfeld.
Congrats on the Soy!!!! That is freaking awesome. The Revels are really great...I love the cassette toilet. Thanks for watching and stay safe over there. Let me know when you get that Revel or GL - we'll have to do a Winnebago meet up!
Having enough fresh water seems always to be a problem - I dont own a van but I follow a bunch of travellers. A popular thing seems to be get a compost toilet its easy to emty etc. Also you dont need a black water tank which may or should make room for more fresh water. Gray water I understand can be flushed in many places.
It is illegal to dump gray water anywhere outside an approved dump site. While there may not be body waste in the water, there are normally food products and other waste that attracts flies and contaminates the area. Same for taking outdoor showers; you need to check to see if it's ok and you need to use biodegradeable soap. We've asked at every State and National park we've stayed in and the answer has always been no except once. As for water usage; before you invest in something, live in your van a while. We pull a nucamp 2019 t@b 400 boon dock lite. We have a 22 gal fresh water tank and 18gal gray and 12 gal black tanks. What this means is two of us, each taking a shower each night, can go without having to dump the gray tank for 3-days, so we normally dump on the 4th day. We've yet to fill the black tank. Our fresh water tank lasted us four days on one trip, but we showered every other day. My point is; see what you can do before you look at modifications or adding more stuff. Do you really want to add 64 or so additional lbs under your bed? Plus, water containers like you buy at the grocery store are prone to leaking. I think you being a solo camper could stretch your water/tanks easily to four days if not longer. Most RV camp grounds will let you stop and dump for a small fee, plus you can use the opportunity to refill your fresh water and take a shower at the camp ground's facilities. If you go the composite toilet option, double check with the factory on whether you can replace that black tank with a fresh water tank. I'm going out on a limp and say their answer is no. No meaning, while they can replace the tank, the added weight of over 200lbs of fresh water might exceed the axle or whatever weight restrictions. Normally when the engineers are designing these, they figure what fresh water you use, will be deposited back into the gray/black, so the weight stays relatively the same.
dale kroll which channel is the one to watch to see all the Jerry, comedians in cars? I see a bunch of different channels, but want to subscribe to Jerrys. Thank you 😊

Ahh thanks, Im feel very fortunate. You can get this version for just under 120, the standard lithium version for under 110, and the non-lithium generator version in the 80s. Of course, you can find a used version cheaper as well.

Of course there are plenty of little laughs and giggles.
haha...love it!!!!!
Wonderful RV. Small but very functional. Congratulations on a smart buy.
Thanks!
I thought this was Ed Stafford until I heard his voice. It's like his twin brother.
haha...i hear this a lot....so it must be true!

@@30AndAWakeUp That's great and you're very welcome!
Such a nice van, I would be so paranoid leaving it to go hiking 😥
haha...that's a good point! Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch and comment, John.
Great tour, that was Seinfeld, my favorite show also , I’ve watched every episode 10x’s. Pretty sure that episode was were Elaine was staying at Jerry’s and he was robbed 😁

Thanks brother...means a lot coming from another goat!
Seinfeld: I have every show so when I do get my van, I won’t lack for entertainment.

You are a truly beautiful man living my dream..
Yeah, I am truly fortunate...but it used to be just a dream for me as well. Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch and comment, Christopher.
Great video, the best I've seen. A couple years ago my son took a 2016 59G around the country to see all the National Parks. He put on 59,000 miles without a hiccup. It's a great machine, have fun!
Very cool...Im trying to do what your son did! Thanks for watching and commenting, Mike.
Congrats on MSOY! Thank you for your service to our great nation. I hope you enjoy your Class B and adventures across the 🇺🇸.
You should be getting paid, your selling it 👍♥️😎
Haha...email Winnebago and tell them! :) Thanks again, Bambi, for watching and commenting. Really appreciate it.
LMBO at you swatting the bugs! Great video tour. I'm now hooked on the Travato.
haha..yeah...those darn things! Thanks for watching and commenting, Lynsey.
Crib: mtv reference and it was exploring celebrities places
Yes sir.
Yeah...Im researching a composting or cassette toilet. I also have 8 1.5 gallon water bags....that Im going to fill up and store under the bed.
Love this van...I like the twins beds...the kitchen...ac...and bathroom. This would be a perfect van for me😀👍
Yeah, I loved it.
Jerry has a show on RUclips called Comedians in cars getting Coffee that's really funny
I love it...watch it all the time!
dale kroll which channel is the one to watch to see all the Jerry, comedians in cars? I see a bunch of different channels, but want to subscribe to Jerrys. Thank you 😊
Wow! I’m sold. You missed your calling. You should sell RV’s.
Haha...then I'd have to stay in one location...no thanks! Thanks for watching and commenting, Edward.
No you don't have to stay in one location!! Creativity is the Mother ou f Ingenuity!! ...you'll become the first "Rolling RV Salesman" you can "sale yourself with this video" to be hired by this company and many o th hers to promote their vehicles, endorsement pays good money!! You are already the pro!! While doing it for free (?). We all wish to have a knowledgeable salesperson when purchasing. Wishing you GOOD & SAFE trips!😊
Excellent presentation! Enjoyed every bit of it and learned a lot of new things.
Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for watching and commenting, Dilano.
I so jealous😔
Edit:how much did you pay for this van
Ahh thanks, Im feel very fortunate. You can get this version for just under 120, the standard lithium version for under 110, and the non-lithium generator version in the 80s. Of course, you can find a used version cheaper as well.
Hello from Minnesota. I think you have the van we were waffling over. Glad you had a good experience at Lichtsinn's. Still Wannabees but someday soon we'll join you. Thanks for the encouragement.
No problem, John. I took my time as well. Let me know if you decide to get one!

Excellent video .... your demonstrations were clearly explained and I could understand you really well. Your voice is relaxing and not annoying. Lol. There are some videos that seem really interesting but their voice is annoying and I immediately exit. Lol I know I know ... seems rude but I can’t help it?! Lol. Anyway ... I absolutely love your simplistic style, your clear delivery, and your well thought out explanations, so I really enjoy your videos and am definitely a fan. Thanks for sharing!! ☺️👍

Watching from Izmir, Turkey. We have a Peugeot Boxer Van Class B and are having a new one built based on a Volkswagen Crafter 17 m3 van. When the Crafter is complete next month we will sell the Peugeot. Love your rig! Ours is totally custom which is affordable here. My wife did the entire design to have exactly what we want this time.
