Metal detecting provides rewards on an intermittent scale of reinforcement. Just like gambling but 1. no smokey rooms 2. it's much cheaper 3. beautiful beaches 4. y'all are cleaning up the environment and 5. Y'all came home with silver and gold!!!!!!! Y'all rock

We did get her the tacos. They were delicious. I have seen the chain rings before but that was the first one either of us have found. It was really cool. Did not test positive for silver so I am guessing it is aluminum because it is so light. Thank you!!!
The co2 cartridges are used in at least 4 different things from of course air soft guns also birthday party balloons non-floating in the air, diving proposes, and for whip-its ...which is getting high off them and being you found a mother load of them in 1 pile....1 would suspect the 4th reason listed as the other 3 don't require that magnatude of them.

Awesome ring finds guys!! Detecting in Florida is always full of so much competition. Usually for the 1715 fleet treasure, would you guys say that coins and jewelry move more in the water from places where they were lost?
Co2 pistols or air rifles.Also they are used in some life preservers the kind that blow up with air those are what I know Co2 cartridges go in, with that many in one spot it could have been a training deal for sea kayaking and they changed out the preservers bad Co2 cartridges but that would be very bad if a business left their trash like that.. Nice finds guys the rings are a nice day.

Good day to you all. I don't know if you ever found the reason for the gas cartridge you found in the beach. Here in the UK we have the same issue. They are mini nitrous oxide gas. Chefs use to pressurise cream guns. But young people sniff the gas to get high. It's laughing gas. Sometimes find a load in supermarket carparks. Guessing chilling and getting high in the cars.😂😂. Stay safe keep well and I'm slowly working my way through your videos. Even if super jealous of your beautiful white sand beaches. 🤣🤣👍👍

I can't think of anything that would use that many at 1 time so just want to let you know. Judging your targets and opting not to dig based on the VDI is a bad idea. It will ruin your life but you should look at Merrill's chart for Equinox VDI's if you haven't seen it already. Search "Minelab Equinox Target ID Bible" on Metal Detecting NYC.
Most likely as many of the steel gas cartridges you found I would assume they are what are called "whip its". They are used in baking and contain nitrous oxide (laughing gas). People abuse them and get high on them. Just my guess.
We have kept everything of value in the hopes someone ever claims an item. We have sent some bling items to followers upon request. It has been long enough now that we could get rid of some of our gold items. Might melt some of the earlier finds soon.
Sorry Bill, how can you compete with 15 CO2 cartridges?? I mean seriously just because you found FOUR rings with TWO of them being GOLD doesn't mean you won....right? I just wish our beaches here on the East Coast were a thousand feet deep like your beaches there on the West Coast ... that's so unfair!
I hear you. I'm on the east coast of Florida so we also have 4 detectorists per square foot of beach. This winter, we're fighting over the pull tabs. It's bad. ;-)
