- What happens if you pour epoxy resin too deep? This week I test pouring Total Boat 2:1 epoxy resin super deep to see what happens and made a table out of it. You won't believe how hot epoxy can get. Check out the YT LiveStream on 12-17-22 at 1pm CST to win this table.

The slab falling and cracking might be a blessing in disguise. It looks super cool having them incorporated in the table top.
That drop was 100% intentional and I love it. I think you were expecting the initial pour to crack from the extreme heat and were planning on filling the cracks all along. Awesome final product!
Solid camera work to catch the drop!
Absolutely love it. The perfect "iced coffee table"
“That’s hot!” Amazing experiment. Always wondered what overheated resin would do. Can’t wait to see it complete. Love your work.
Honestly love the table it looks like you encased a partially cloudy sky blue day into a table.
I dropped an epoxy table top in one of my videos and cracked it right down the middle, so I felt it in my soul when you dropped the epoxy top.
It is a very good book for beginners as well as for those that are already into ruclips.net/user/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt A very good basic ebook to keep as a reference too. I like it and the way the subject matter is presented. It has humor and that helps with the reading.
The way the cracks make it look like the middle of a glacier is so cool.
I actually like the fact it "broke" gives it some different uniqueness to it. keep up the good work and good luck to all with trying to win it. cheers.
That’s hot! Love how it turned out, and love that you rolled with the break. Most of art is “happy accidents”!
I love the way you demonstrated and saved the broken pour.
When he took it out the second time, the editor should have had a second disaster countdown, just to mess with us.
I was expecting it to fall, and I still screamed when it did
Cool build, the colors reminds me of a piece of sea glass my daughter found years ago that she still has sitting on her dresser at home
That's hot. I love the look of both sides. I love how you stuck with it hit the floor and shattered. A lot of other builders would have quit then but you turned it into something unique and beautiful.
You hit the nail on the head about Oklahoma weather.
I wont lie when you dropped it my heart cried for you. I was like oh no he lost so much money now. But was so happy when you salvaged it and now those cracks actually look cool.. I like the bottom more aswell. It gives it personality
That's hot. And cold. And hot all in one. Beautiful way to 'rescue' a dropped piece
Awesome looking table. Glad you just rolled with it breaking it and still turned it into cool table vs tossing it out and giving up.
That's Hot! Glad the chunks were big enough to put back together.
I really do love the ice look! That and it reminds me a bit of sea glass. Great way to salvage a potential disaster (or several).
I'm trying to recreate the sea glass look in a table. I'm wondering if the finish that goes onto the wood part will get rid of the rough texture of the sanded epoxy. What do you think?
"THAT'S HOT" gave me a good laugh when you dropped it but came out amazing! Cant wait to give my first epoxy build a try!
Dropping it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The cracks really sell the "ice" look. Really cool.
"That's Hot" Love the table and your content, especially your delivery. Always looking forward to the next project.
The fact it broke makes it look cool af! Love it!
That turned out AMAZING!! You can call it the thin ice build.
Super clever. Never thought about doing this with epoxy.
that is honestly one of the best epoxy poor effects i have seen yet not to mention from michigan yes that reminds me of ice in a hockey rink.
'Thats hot', did not know it got that hot, great video.
That’s hot 😊 When you turned it over after pouring the thick layer, I said out loud “don’t drop it!”
Arctic ice table looks really cool. Nice salvage after dropping. That's hot.
The break turned out to be the best feature! It does look like ice. Awesome!
What a unique table. It does look like artic ice. Love it Johnny.
While the end result was not the original design it still turned out amazing.
That's hot! Turned out pretty good after you put the pieces together.
It could be so much fun to do thermodinamics with this kind of project in school than the only theory! Professor to the max!
Art is just making reality beautiful. So goes your pour there. You made a broken piece even better. Great work!
The countdown was spectacular..👏👏👏
That's hot! Nice job overcoming the drop.
I’ve got my first epoxy project coming up and I’ve stumbled onto your channel thanks to Jeff and I can say without a doubt I’ve landed in the right place!!!
Looks cool but i think it would look better with a high polish to really see the inside.
Definitely a cool color! Nice build. 👍🏾 “ that’s hot!”
That table is amazing. It was broken but now it is whole.
A few days ago, here in Denmark, we had realy frosty weather, the snow we had, turned into, well, surprice... Ice 😱🥶... This awsome table you made, kinda reminds me of that Scandinavian ice 👍😃
It’d be cool to win that because I live about an hour away from you I believe in Tulsa! Glad you got to still use the table! Just has character cracks in it!!
Nice work! I thought to myself, "ah man it's a goner" but of course it turned out for the better in the end.
I must say that is so amazing artwork. I’m sure the winner will love this for years and years.
Taking a disaster and making it into art is awesome. I love it and it turned out very well.
My daughter thought the marshmallow part was the best and super funny. Great build. Surprised at how cool it all turned out.
That turned out to be a really cool color
Love the glacier iceberg look to it!
"Thats Hot"- Very nice yet missed opportunity... Next broken one use gold dye in mix when glueing back together then that light blus top... That would be super sweet!
Nice job of taking a “mistake” and turning it into a cool project.
I love the absolute chaos of this video
The marshmallow bit was great! Table looks awesome, good job!
Artic ice coffee table look awesome. I like how a mistake was turned into a design element that worked perfectly. Stay awesome.
Love the look of the top, love to see what it looks like altogether.
The bottom looks like clouds! Way cool!!
Man you do some amazing work! Blown away by it all! Love to see your builds! Thanks for everything!💯
Love the arctic ice effect from dropping the table, very worth it!
That's hot! Also, that table is gorgeous! I love the icy cool look and the matte finish. Unique and lovely!
Love the Ice table look good in our RV
That's Hot Johnny, love the hello darkness my old friend bit when you dropped it - ouch...
Nice job salvaging a table top drop!
Crazy project, you nearly set the fire to your house but beautiful result.
Now that's hot! Love that blue pour over it all!
That's hot! I have to agree that the bottom looks as cool (or cooler) than the top!
Totally awesome. That’s a hot build. Looking forward to your next build
Hey Leatherneck! Enjoy the content and glad to support a fellow Marine, and harrier Marine at that! Tuned in all the way from Edmond
The color and finished icy look turned out amazing, good choice leaving it
Very cool. The drop recovery was epic!!!!
I will be on family vacay in the UK, but good luck to everyone, the table is awesome!
What can I say, very creative. You did react as much as I might of thought when you dropped. My thought is you did something similar in the past and you instantly knew how you would fix it. Great Job! How heavy will it be when I win it? LOL
That's hot. I loved the marshmallow scene! Keep making me laugh!!!
artic ice hit the nail on the head
That's hot! Turned out really pretty.
Really like that that top is reversable. Seems there should be some way to capitalize on that.
The amount of epoxy you wasted after that final deep pour was probably $100 lol. I could only dream of having an epoxy sponsorship like you do.
I've never seen $500ish dollars explode like that. That was incredible
Great recovery on the Epoxishap....looking forward to you future builds
That's Hot.... Disasters sometime turn into great things.... Great job as usual....
table looks supper good love the arctic ish look
Looks great, walnut base would really make it pop.
Oooooh looking forward to the next build. 🤘🏼
As cool as this ended up looking, I would have loved to see how the fix would have looked with very different coloured resin for the fixing, maybe in a gold colour as an homage to the kintsugi style table you did previously.
always enjoy the videos. being from OKC kinda fun to see a local doing incredible things.
🙌🙌
looks great I was hoping you could do a video on how much pigment to achieve the tint
Turned out super cool
To be honest, you should have left the crack with a little space for the blue layer to fill. It would have made them a feature .
The bottom reminds me of the sky with few clouds in it.
THAT'S HOT.
I love it and yes it does look like Arctic Ice. I think you should name it that.
That’s Hot! Should have embedded some marshmallows into the pour.
That’s hot! What a piece of art!
I held my breath through the entire countdown, because I wasn’t sure what was coming 😂
I love the projects you make. And hats off for turning a potential disaster into a beautiful table.
Nice video. Nice job recovering the project.
Looking forward to Saturday!
Got a cloud vibe to it 😊
Nice educational video on the dangers of pouring too much epoxy. I was hoping that once you cracked it that you would have put it back together using the kintsugi style. Using a gold epoxy for the repair. Would’ve looked super cool under the ice blue. Keep building!
Good ventilation and/or a respirator are crucial when working with epoxy. Or even a little at a time if you do it often enough. Not just when it gets real hot. It is very toxic so please be careful!
Wow that's very hot. Great educational video didn't realize resin gets so hot.
