This is so subtle, Kanye talks about how some people waste they're life on bad decisions, instead of following your dreams and finding real happiness. He uses the example of a career woman, she's independent but that didn't bring her happiness, he talks about how she would trade her current life for a husband and some kids. What did her career really mean if it didn't bring her happiness? Where is life's meaning if we continue to choose things that make us unhappy? "You ever wonder if you'll find yo dreams?" We can all take steps to improve our life's, and at the end of the day, what's the point of living if we're perpetually unhappy?

Its been long 10 years without seeing you big brother, but indeed you making your dreams come true.
@buffminer5827 the keys, synths, strings? who was really doing that in rap at that time. PS the lyrics are dope and as you can see from the comments people really relate to the song.

this song helped me get through my close relative's death. i never really listened to kanye that much, but i am thankful, and even if just one person reads this comment, never give up on your life.
This song makes me so sad but not in a bad way. It just brings me emotions I’ve never felt before and it’s just brings back good memories. Takes me back to when my girlfriend and I went on our first date and it plays in my head like a movie. We went to go grab some pizza, then some ice cream, afterwards we went to a rose garden where I told her how she made me feel then to top it off we went to a drive in where we watched a really corny movie and we just sat there and made fun of it. Ugh if I could just relive this day it would be so amazing 🥲
i feel like my life is changing a lot right now and i can't tell if i'm happy or sad but this song kinda just hits the spot i already know that in the future i'll be listening to this song with memories coming back from this point in my life
I cant help but say that a lot of the things kanye likes i vibe with really fucking hard. You just know one day kanye remembered his grandad used to listen to libi and he found some gold to sample and bring out the most beautiful song of the album
This whole song inspires me, but the line “these dreams be waking me up at night” in particular resonates with me. I always interpreted this line as Kanye’s larger than life aspirations and goals (his dreams) kept him up at night, because he felt he couldn’t rest until he achieved them. That’s exactly how I feel at times. Far too often I’m kept up at night because I’m so driven to accomplish all of my goals, but I feel like they’re so far out of reach. That’s why I love Kanye’s music so much though , he encourages you to never give up on your dreams and to believe in yourself.

I can proudly say we've made it but we're not done yet. this song got me here and I just wanted to share.

I'm not ashamed to say I cry listening to this. Not because I'm sad it just drives me to want to achieve more than I ever could and I want others to do the same. Its hard when I see people struggling. No need for that although we can't get peace without it. Some struggle alot more than others. Never let the struggles bring you down though the hardships lead to greatness!:)
one regret I have is not finding this song earlier and getting the message stuck in my head

The Graduation Era is one for the ages! This song is just a segment of how truly stupendous this body of work is and what Kanye can do when he puts his heart and soul into a project.
It was the last time he was actually happy also. It was made before Donda's death

It’s just so ironic how he said in the sample that “this is my song, nobody can take it away” and Ye took it over lol
One of the best, most inspirational songs ever created in the modern era. The song is a perfect representation for finding happiness. Especially when he talks about the career woman who would trade it all for a husband and some kids because her career didn't bring her happiness.

孔明,您怎么在这?迷路了?
Lyrics:
Find your dreams come true
And I wonder if you know
What it means, what it means
And I wonder if you know
What it means, what it means
And I wonder if you know
What it means to find your dreams
I've been waiting on this my whole life
These dreams be waking me up at night
You say I think I'm never wrong
You know what, maybe you're right, aight
And I wonder if you know
What it means, what it means
And I wonder if you know
What it means to find your dreams
You say he get on your fucking nerves
You hope that he get what he deserves, word
Do you even remember what the issue is
You just trying to find where the tissue is
You can still be who you wish you is
It ain't happen yet
And that's what the intuition is
When you hop back in the car
Drive back to the crib
Run back to their arms
The smokescreens
The chokes and the screams
You ever wonder what it all really mean
And I wonder if you know
What it means, what it means
And I wonder if you know
What it means to find your dreams
And I'm back on my grind
A psychic read my lifeline
Told me in my lifetime
My name would help light up the Chicago skyline
And that's what I'm
Seven O'clock, that's primetime
Heaven'll watch, God calling from the hotlines
Why he keep giving me hot lines
I'm a star, how could I not shine
How many ladies in the house
How many ladies in the house without a spouse
Something in your blouse got me feeling so aroused
What you about
On that independent shit
Trade it all for a husband and some kids
You ever wonder what it all really mean
You ever wonder if you'll find your dreams
Thanks!

this song helped me get through my close relative's death. i never really listened to kanye that much, but i am thankful, and even if just one person reads this comment, never give up on your life.
Yea
This song makes me so sad but not in a bad way. It just brings me emotions I’ve never felt before and it’s just brings back good memories. Takes me back to when my girlfriend and I went on our first date and it plays in my head like a movie. We went to go grab some pizza, then some ice cream, afterwards we went to a rose garden where I told her how she made me feel then to top it off we went to a drive in where we watched a really corny movie and we just sat there and made fun of it. Ugh if I could just relive this day it would be so amazing 🥲

This and Flashing Lights are some amongst some of the most top tier of hip hop songs.
3:20 that shift right there is just beautiful 🔥
This whole song inspires me, but the line “these dreams be waking me up at night” in particular resonates with me. I always interpreted this line as Kanye’s larger than life aspirations and goals (his dreams) kept him up at night, because he felt he couldn’t rest until he achieved them. That’s exactly how I feel at times. Far too often I’m kept up at night because I’m so driven to accomplish all of my goals, but I feel like they’re so far out of reach. That’s why I love Kanye’s music so much though , he encourages you to never give up on your dreams and to believe in yourself.
2007 was the year that i was a freshman in high school. this album was my one of my top favorites of that year. thank you Ye for this masterpiece. so many good memories 🤷🏽♂️💯🐐😢

trynna figure out myself like any other human till high school I found dance. comin from a small town and an asian background I started chasing a dream to someday do something with it... everyone continued to always doubt me but tomorrow night I perform as a NBA dancer and I still feel like the kid who'd just be grinding at practice to sometimes second guessing myself if I'm doin the right thing for my future but ultimately my heart still wanted to continue regardless if I wouldn't ever make a dime.. all the people I grew up with in school etc. all have families, careers, make tons of money, etc. and I am here working dead end jobs listening to this song and just yearning for something someday.... now I'm 26 and I get a check for it. I can proudly say we've made it but we're not done yet. this song got me here and I just wanted to share.
This was my ex and I first kiss song. But now. Now it’s my journey,s own song. When I accomplish my sucess and travel my path…I will get to the top. And I will play this song, to remind myself I did it.
