I met this woman, Boriqua Liz Torres when she performed in Boston in 1986 at this club called Hub Club. I said hello on ger break, she said hello in the most friendly, Sultry way. Shook her hand. I almost passed out as a young 19 year old College at Nottheastern Univ. kid enjoying the Gokden Era of Chicago House music. Her hit, "Can't Get Enough", was my favorite.
Played this around 99 when living in California Had it on a double EP. but first Heard this on a proper warehouse system back in 89 house rave days UK . Next up , my house is your house and your house is mine 👊 fire of a tune
DAMN! This is my classic house jam here! She re-recorded the vocals for this version and in my humble and honest opinion, this one is DA SHIIIIIIT! I prefer this over the version she recorded with Carl Bias aka Quest.
I've always wondered if this was an official release or not. I got the test press of this record around '87 and always preferred it to the original especially in the darkness of the warehouse..original version always brought the party to the floor though! :)
Very nice track. But the dynamics are varying a to much to my taste. I know this is often the case with old tracks. Also the combination of uploading with a lossy audio format, and then converting and playing that with the lossy RUclips format will alter and vary the dynamics significantly. It would improve if the music video uploaders would leave the audio portion of their upload uncompressed which is never the default setting of their video editor/converter. People don't realize that
