Caryl I think you do wonderful in your coloring of these sweet homespun snowmen. I think of primitive things as simple, maybe with primarily earth tones, maybe with torn edges or textures added from fabric lace and ribbons etc. I love simple old fashioned images and tea dyed edges etc. i call it homespun heART! I think we should all create what feels right in our own hearts. God gave us each a unique view of the world and we should celebrate it!
Your snowmen are perfect. I think you hit the primitive look just fine. Add some distress paper behind them and you will see it will help them look more prim. But you colored them up amazingly ! 🫶🏼❤ them. Tfs

I think with the right background maybe they can give more of a look that you want. But honestly, they are so darn adorable that I think they are perfect just the way they are! Coloring stamps is hard! You did a beautiful job, these guys are sooooo cute! I don't know what prim is, but these are stinkin cute regardless. I also don't like the rounded dauber sponges but I have a bunch of them so I'll be using them for a while. The Hot Cocoa card is adorable!
