The one thing I disagree with is at the beginning of the video is that the dirt he threw off the side of the road should have been thrown into the low spots on the opposite side of the road that was continuing to hold water.
While I applaud your desire to free the road I wonder if you though that: 1. you flooded someone's field; 2. the 'culvert' is going toe rode into a gulley, and 3. You literally dug potholes in the road.
Great job. Good roads before winter mean a lot. That shovel may be good on mud dams like that one a couple videos ago. You seem prepared for everything. Thank you for being this kind of guy. 👍👍👍😊😉😃
Thank you very much for this very interesting video presentation, the people really appreciate the work that you have done for the community in the removal of this pond. Some people just drive through fast and wonder why they flood their engine.
The water from the rest of the road had already drained off...into the field. The water that didn't absorb into the roadway will easily absorb into the field, as evidenced by the end of the video.
Yup. Definitely a puddle. Here are the main terms for bodies of water, smallest to largest: Puddle (anything smaller than, say, a house), pond (between the size of a house to a half acre), lake (about an acre or larger), bay/gulf (part of an ocean or sea, but calmer waters, due to partially enclosing geography), sea (big, but not one of the 5 named oceans, with the Southern/Antarctic being the newest one recognized as an ocean), and then, of course, ocean (Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, Southern (called Antarctic by some)). There are other types of bodies of water, but they fit into these sizes, and are distinguished more by their characteristics outside of their size, like surrounding geography (in the case of fjords, coves, lagoons, and sounds), or supported plant life (like that which distinguishes a bog from a marsh, or a swamp).
Flooding. Poor soil drainage & aeration. Erosion. Is what happens when cut down all the trees, intensive farming of crops & livestock not suited to the ecology.
Water lying on a road will have contaminants in it from underside of cars .. not a good idea to drain onto a crop growing field .. the thought was great but the execution not so great .. maybe better to drain to other side of road ..

👍👍
Who needs block buster movies when 1 man and a shovel will do?

Had gravel roads to travel when young so know this was a great help to get it drained.

Good idea.
Great job keeping the fields and roads safe.
Great Job!
Greetings from the BIG SKY. That's a real mess.
That's how you attract beavers
Was exactly a car killer 😆
Nice job! 🇱🇹😊👍🇺🇸
Why drain the water onto the farmland rather than the scrub on the other side of the road?
Awesome ❤️
Wow, that emptied fast!
Totally blocked 😂 by a puddle😂😂
Will You walk thru it?
cars these days cant handle much more then a small puddle :P
@@vossejongk You don’t know how deep it is before You drive thru it:)
@@vossejongk the road will be damaged for the long term puddle
Nice boots
Nice job! The countryside looks like the Fens in England.
#post10 would be proud
Smart
That was just a puddle.
nice one
So someone's winter crops got flooded or swept away.....
That amount of water did nothing to them;)
Where did the water from the rest of the road go? Oh, right, into the field. 🙄
What agriculture do you grow on your land?
Wheats.
@@Kenislovas you live in a beautiful part of the world, with a lot of beavers lol
@@radfishguy6784 yeah;)

This one is not the case, but I'm always curious: you are not afraid of snakes? In the bushes ?
We only have 2 spieces of poisonous snakes. And it’s very rare here:)
Nice video. Doesn’t this flood the field though?
Nop, it’s not big amount of water;)

Is this a bonus? Do we still get a dam busting video today? Good job and keep 'em coming!
Tomorrow;)
ASMR!
I am left wondering whether the land owner wanted that water dumping on their field.
This amount of water is so small, that it could not damage anything.
Nothing fish
its after enjoying this ive realized how boring my life is
Welcome to the club!
:D
Because it's satisfying 😂
Use a refused I don't want to hear the stinking wind!!!!!
i believe thats called a puddle, not a pond))
from the title was expecting that those pesky beavers created a pond overflowing the road
Yeah, maybe You right;)
