Something's super satisfying about this vid, it just boils down that tragedy-to-revenge plotline in an emotionally impactful and fun-to-listen-to package. It feels like the scav is lecturing Artificer like a Karen in the first bit, and then Arti's bit is her mocking the Scavengers likewise.
Has anybody thought about how Artificer might of been friends with the scavengers before they killed her pups? In the dreams, the artificer is able to pass by the scavenger toll no problem, and the pup is only attacked because it took a pearl. Considering this, her sense of revenge against the scavengers seems even more intense.

Passing the toll without paying makes them angry, but some are more or less aggressive than others, willing to forgive some slights or not. Some are also followers towards more dominating scavs, and are likely to act in accordance to how the leader does. A non agressive leader can restrain their tribe to some degree So there are new benevolent and malevolent tribes.

Unless I feel like being friends with Scavs, I immediately remove them from existence on sight regardless of who I am or how numerous they are, not dealing with their bullshit and instantly killing me the moment I turn my back on them And most certainly, I am not going to let anyone near my slugpup without turning into a smoking corpse (Hunter is not becoming Artificer V2 in my book today)

I completely and fully associate this song with artificer, I had this animation looping as I did her playthrough and now every time I hear it I think of this video. Even though I'm studying Japanese and know that it's about burnt bread, my brain still imagines this video. Who knows, perhaps arti burnt the bread with her explosive ability.
I don't think the scavangers would cry about the dead king, by the fact they immediately accepted her as the new leader they seem to have a hierarchical society where the strong rule over the weak, and since the old king was defeated it's only logical she was simply more superior and this deserving of the new title.
And arti is a wanted criminal who slaughtered the scavengers. I think no matter how much the scavengers respect the system, they will not really accept a murderer from a foreign race. Arti is undoubtedly a tyrant
The reason for my idea is very simple. If arti does not wear a mask, he will still be attacked by scavengers. The mask of the king is a symbol and a deterrent, but it does not mean that the scavengers accept arti. :3

Has anyone thought that since Artis “nightmares” are simply dreams the events that happened in those dreams might not be exactly what actually happened? For instance, maybe a scav was trying to hit a enemy but accidentally hit the pup, and maybe when doing a bomb jump over the water she accidentally dropped her pup, and her rage and grief twisted her perception of what actually happened causing her to believe it was the scavs fault?
Damn! Arti's normal story was already extremely tragic, sad and depressing. Now you want to add a "Hey, I think I imagined something wrong" as she goes on a pointless killing spree.
