Thanks for the visuals that accompany the audio. Makes for a great wind down podcast when I’m getting ready for bed. I appreciate seeing briefly the faces of the host, members, and guests on the screen so I can put a face to the voice. Lovely vibes as always.
Faces on camera! I haven’t finished the episode and don’t know if this is permanent going forward but even if it’s not what a lovely surprise! Love everything you guys are doing
Yakuza PS3 install screens mentioned! I always liked the ones from Dead Souls and 5. Also, thanks for the Mariko Tone recommendation; listening to Purple Rose now and it's exactly what I was hoping it would be.
I'm an episode ahead, but I came here to say how grateful I am that we've moved past the old horrible buzzer. The new horrible buzzers have been less hostile to my brain, and I appreciate it!
This has been one of my favorite podcasts for years, definitely the best video game podcast, no contest, but without Tim… man. That’s such an enormous hole to fill and I wish you guys the best in trying to do so, but I know a lot of people (myself included) got here through him… a shame it worked out that way. I believe you guys can keep going and make a good show, but without Tim it’s just not the same to me :| good luck!
As far as the looping thing on Nintendo music goes I don’t think it’s as easy as y’all’s are saying Mainly because a loop in game sounds seamless because it’s exported with a reverb tail at the end and then that reverb tail overlaps the beginning of the next. It IS doable but I think you would have to approach what a music player is in a different way And also go back to the master versions of each track to get that track with reverb tail
I think "Nintendo is trying to keep everyone in their ecosystem" is a little tin-foil-hat, but i DO think they realized that they're the closest thing there is to a "Disney of Games" and they're trying to experiment more with lifestyle products (as well as other media type), especially given that Pokemon specifically (and things like Amiibo as well) has proven how well merch of their characters sells. I think Nintendo Music was just a cool idea one of them had as a way to add value to their membership, like not a main draw but just a nice bonus. And I mean it works really well, so I'm happy with it

Started listening to this podcast (video version) recently, and it's so so so good. Thank you for making it.
Thanks as always for all the hard work you all are putting into this, the quality just keeps getting better🎉

Esper don't work yourself to death!
Appreciate the more involved video a lot, tho!
Content warning for this episode: Too much handsomeness
fr dude
Love seeing your faces while you talk. Also the MtG lightning round was fun for me (as an avid MtG player). Good show guys!

Love the flying beagle album cover reference
For a couple of seconds, I thought Esper had managed to lipsync the audio to some FMV game.

Love to see the faces
I would give *anything* to ensure ZDog's safety and happiness.
Esper, the secret MVP
good show. nice to see the talking faces. no one mentioned this yet, but why is tim's name still on the end card?
mistake on my part. another example of the dangers of not updating a template. thanks for pointing it out, will be fixed in future episodes -esper
I followed the breadcrumbs to this. ✌️

Simian spirit guide: mass hysteria would be a day 1 purchase for me
