You are passing along a lot of inaccurate information. Sk sold to greatnstar summer of 2922, they have a line of prosumer tools in china and the pro line of sockets and the LP90 ratchet you showed on the usa, that same ratchet is rebadged and made for olsa tool. They would be very stupid to end the usa line of sockets because they are so good not many notches below a snap on sockets. Truth be told that is the best thing they ever had to offer. I always heard the old timers refer to sk as the socket company. The wrenches we good as far as tolerances and they were very hard and strong. A sk .wrenches never splayed the open end they just broke the open end off of one side but the wrenches were jist to short. They did make a long pattern for a while toward the end. I have been working on building a set of sae for 4 years. They didn't market them to well and they are ,rare to find in eBay and very pricey and were new as well. They are t about to sell they have sold and moved the factory to the shop vac factory over the past couple of years excuse all of my typos and mistakes my screen is messed up then out correct make wrong words I have been trying to type this for over 15 mins and I just am done with correcting the mistakes with the expectation people will read between the lines I just don't care if people make.fum of m me for the mistakes and my patience are done with it now
Nobody knows for sure what’s going on with SK but what I would say by what I see is the web site is sold out of a lot of the USA ratchets and they either shut down production of them or have two guys making them since I can’t see tons of these being sold with the new shop vac plant pumping them out…For us as consumers we won’t know the truth probably for years, It’s sad to see these tools 🛠️ being made over sea’s but you know it will happen,,,So I’m not a pro so I don’t need snap on so HFT it is for me now craftsman is not good to me,,THATS all get r done
I have that Pittsburgh extendable 1/4 3/8 ratchet it's not my go to but I'm glad I have it if I need it 👍🏼
Nice ratchets brother
If your wanting a cheaper price locking flex head husky has a 3/8 and 1/2" version made by gearwrench. I have both and they seem fine.
I still have some of those old craftsmen. Great review bro.
The stubby flex head ratchet is made in Tiwan. It was made for Craftsman by Stanley. They are known as the tri wing ratches.
Nice assortment and thanks for the review… your tools aren’t beatup like mine.. nice..
Great job.
Nice ratchets. I have a buddy who sold Matco tools. If he wore spandex, he'd never have made it to retirement. Guess that only works for women. LOL
