Useless video, but funny...
Wonder if it will work with the 1/2” variants?
I bought the 25 inch breaker bar from Pittsburgh, I bought a ratcheting swivel Pittsburgh head one half inch, and I just bought the icon one half inch swiveling head as well. The problem with these is you have to drill out metal to get those heads into the breaker bar with the bigger pin. I'm trying to figure out how I can do this without losing metal but there is no effective way. On the breaker bar there's probably twice the metal at that rotating head then there is at the swivel head of these ratchets. I think I'm going to start off with the Pittsburgh ratchet and see how it does before I ruin a $50 icon wrench.
Need to find a ratchet wrench that locks these sockets in.
Looks good, maybe would make more sense 1/2 drive. Or optional I guess, make what you want 🤷
They're smoking skunks on the pit boss or what 😂
I'm relieved I waited to get the 1/4" drive Quinn ratchet and used a coupon to boot. Maybe mine will be better. A little anvil more side wiggle than I'm used to, but it works smooth. Little to no side wiggle would probably cause too much back drag on any ratchet.
my gordon is 3 weeks old now and it is a nice multitool except when I used it to open a couple of pouches of pool shock and within 2 days rust started to appear, now granted shock is chlorine powder which is corrosive but I have been using my leatherman for over 25 years around all sorts of pool chemicals and have never seen a hint of rust
Great Video! I'm not sure if i enjoyed the comment section more than the video.....
Nice!
And don't forget to get that patch on the way back in tonight! LOL
And wash the truck 🚛!
i dont see any problems here...
Be safe bro
Damn that looks good how many hours did you smoke
14 hours
is it ready yet?! im hungry.
bro that looks delicious
I've had my eye on that Quinn 1/4 ratchet for a while now, it's a good looking ratchet
What % alcohol do you think it will be ?
Between 6&7%
❤❤❤
Thank you
I just purchased the 1/2 inch. Did a brake job and worked well. Quinn for win.
Im finna slide on you
What does that mean
Lol ik exactly where that is bro
Is it true that the old Pittsburgh Pro line is now the ICON line? I have no idea, I have just heard that around the inter-webs
Icon is pretty much all new and Pittsburgh pro is still a thing, THATS the best I can tell ya. It might of been true years ago
Now this is a man who knows what he wants and makes it happen!
damn were is mine at you sob lmao
Wow, they are mirror images of each other! 😂
You can't get the belt hook off ? You're kidding. You Know !!!
Thank you Jon Goodman for this review.
Watch your tools in the truck 😝
Ya I park right in front of Giordanos pizza and I can see my truck from the roof and I got tons of rocks 🪨 on the roof ,,,lol

Love your ruff videos hippie
Great video, love the non biased honesty with it, i picked one up cause as a guy who isnt huge into multi tools, im not spending 120 on a wave, it seems like a good deal, thankfully mine seems to have actually passed QC, but time will tell.
I bought one, really liked it and discovered a major flaw- the pliers end has either a terrible casting or some sort of braising in it, right at the point of stress. It blew out and snapped one of the pliers prong off. Inside, there is flaky brass powder. This tool went from being a 9/10 to a 1/10. I was not abusing it, light general use. HF says that there is a lifetime warranty, but I doubt I will try another. Sad to say: its poorly made, despite the rest of the tool being damn good.
Will get 1 to put in Cart. Where did you get the storage blue box?
They sell them at harbor freight. They come in 3 sizes made of silicone and they don’t slide around
My problem with this knife is the philips screwdriver, which is not held in place securely. There's a tiny magnet, which is all that holds it. You can count on it getting lost pretty quickly.
that glass is half empty vibe fosho
Man you just drew the short straw unfortunately and got one that got through quality control or something and was damaged because I bought one the other day and I love it it almost does a better job of being a Leatherman Wave than a Leatherman Wave does and I agree with you they're not going to keep these on the shelf it's going to be like that icon knife that harbor freight can't keep in stock. They would have been smart to order a whole box full for every store rather three or four. This for the video.
Ya I know but I didn’t want to hide that mine came broken, I switched it out and the new one is great,,,icon is coming out with a new knife soon

What kinda of new knife? A flipper style like the one that's really popular now? I wish they'd make a Leatherman surge clone. @@DUMPTHETRUCK
Wait... you're doing a video like this and you don't know what a "bellow" is?
Sorry Biden Boy I thought you didn’t have to be woke to make a RUclips video in the USA, I usually use gas instead blowing little tubes
@@DUMPTHETRUCK Man, I had no idea you'd get so triggered. hahaha Bah, regardless of that I'm still gonna sub. Lovin' the videos I've checked out so far. :)
Thanks for your honest sharing. I m also a harbor freight tool guy. Gordon should do a better job to modified what people really want. Harbor Freight has the best distribution network. 👍👍👍👍👍
You bet
Mine works perfectly fine. I have had several multi-tools. Mostly Leatherman and Gerber. The Gordon isn't as good quality as Leatherman buy it's also 1/3 the price. But I will say this tool is better than the $70 Gerber Multi-Tool I have.
This is a really great tool and has many upgrades from the Leatherman Wave +. It sounds like this guy has problems with everything he gets.
So you wanted me to hide that it was broken out the package and tell you it’s great with no problems
"Upgrades" 😂😂😂
Getting rid of a flat head would be a stupid ass idea. I constantly run into flat heads when I’m out doing things. Not having a flat head available can turn a quick job into I gotta run to the damn store and buy a flat head because someone decided to stop adding them to their tools lol. I just went to HF to buy more flat heads because I never have them available
Dude, 30 min video? Not like I got a six pack and popcorn to watch Seinfeld in the 90's. Really...
No problems with mine!
I’m sure mine was a fluke but I didn’t think it was right to not show the problems with mine. I got a new one and it seems fine
I love HF!
This guy is a complete idiot. He has no idea what he is doing. He's way out of his depth.... He doesn't even know anything about steel. It's sad I'm halfway through and I'm just turning it off.
Where is your video
Not bad !
The price is less than 1/3 of the original Wave, do you really exspect a better quality? Your tool is faulty, return it and get another one. The bit driver has two advantages (for Leatherman- lol) a) it gives room for another tool, b) it gives opportunity to sell extremely overpriced special bits, bit-sets and extensions. I discovered, they just took regular 1/4"-bits and made them flat, so I bought a cheap locking bit-driver, cut it short underneath the notch, ground it flat to fit the holder and added a hole matching the gap in the holder - now I can put in a pin and have a 100% locked-in-place driver for any regular bit on the market for around 7$ and one hour of 'elbow grease'. This add-on fits right inside one of the elastic side loops of the sheath. BTW: a) the bits are in HEXAGON-shape (=6 corners) not octagon (=8 corners) b) should be common knowledge that 'stainless steel' is a marketing gag, ALL steels will start to rust over time, the 'stainless' ones significantly later than carbon steel. Some special steels need some 100 years in seawater to show rust. Contents of chrome(Cr), vanadium(V), nickel(Ni), molybdanium(Mo) and others help increasing their 'stainless' time, but reduce the hardness, so manufacturers choose low contents on certain tools like Philips drivers. This is why 'stainless' tools need some maintenance too - your old Leatherman is in quite bad shape - remember: your sweat is salty water, so wipe the tools down with a small rag, drenched in gun-oil
I thought I'd get alot more comments over the hexagon octagon thing but you were the only one.
A little rust doesn't hurt
Are they as well made as a Wave?. Of course not. Is it terrible?. No. I've seen reviews saying to just get a Gerber multitool instead since some of their multitools are comparatively priced. Those people must be stuck in the past because IMO entry-level Gerber multitools are even worse than this.
Gerber has become junk outside of their more expensive offerings.
@@williamkious5349 Agreed .Gerber used to be quality up until the 90s the only things worth a sht now are the Strongarm and their $100+ multitools but at that price why not just get a Leatherman or Victorinox?.
