Guys rarely came down dribbled through their legs and pulled up for 3. “Handles and pulling up for 3” weren’t a thing n the prior generations, MJ was all midrange and played n the post, Magic and Bird were n the post, the league was dominated by big post players and everyone dribbled “fundamental”, Steph gets a lot of credit for it bc he was the 1st pure shooter who also pulled up off the dribble w handles but Kob AI T Mac all made having handles and pulling up off the dribble popular and the norm

I played point guard all the way through college and Allen Iverson is my favorite player and point guard of all time.
