Im a huge Lakers fan.... even bigger Kobe fan. But Allen Iverson... Philly Iverson, was something different. SHAQ WAS THE MOST DOMINENT FORCE at this time and era.... Kobe had skills unmatched. But pound for pound Philly Iverson was the greatest. Much respect to him. 24 Kobe was better than 8, but this Iverson right here..... these kids these days will never know.

Like everyone is saying, this is just better basketball compared to today’s game. It’s far more interesting to watch. Just seeing a game from this era really brings it home. Getting rid of hand-checking was a huge mistake because it makes it so difficult to defend. With poor defense being played, the intensity of the game suffers. That intensity brings out the best in players. That, and the trend toward every team jacking up 3s all game has just made today’s NBA boring.

Brown chose to go small ball instead. They let that game get away and never recovered. Philly was a tuff defensive team, & good enough to take the series. Shaq was gonna get his just like AI.
