Adding improved lighting is the best mod I have done to my 2002 C5 coupe. The factory lighting is the worst I have ever seen in 7:21 a high performance car, in my opinion. The mods you have done are all very nice and very well done … but if you do a fair amount of nighttime driving, having excellent lighting is most important, and makes a dramatic improvement in enjoyable C5 driving. 😊

I'm afraid to drive at night around here, we have so many deer and I don't want them taking out my C5! I take the wife's car at night...lol

I have another mod for you consider. A full paint correction or at least a paint enhancement. That black will look amazing!

Another excellent C5 video! Your modifications are well done, with documented outputs that measure performance improvements, and their pricing represents a comprehensive analysis. I own a 2002 C5 and am always impressed with your video content. Love the C6 content too.

Really great info Ken, thanks for making these videos.
OH and thanks for the tip about the oil in a box I pick one up yesterday and it gives me about 3 free quarts of oil when you do the math, so hats off to you!!

Thanks for the C6 z06 shock recommendation. I am about to replace my C5 Z06 shocks and have been looking at a shock anti-sway bar kit which is quite pricey.

Im using your most recent video to ask a question on a 6 month old video. Do you feel the heat shield you built to cover the air intake filters works? I plan on doing it on my 2007 but noticed you quickly changed over to an ls3 intake instead. Thanks in advance.

I think it's marginally helpful with the LS2 air filter assembly mainly during situations that allow it to pull cooler air from that front cavity as opposed to the hot engine bay. I was hoping for a little bit more horsepower with the LS7 assembly and stock engine power level. I think the LS7 assembly has more room for future growth and I do think overall it pulls colder air from down low.

I experimented with various ethanol percentages and discovered e33 works very well for my setup.
