Senator Romney, thank you for continuing to represent our Party and the Citizens of Utah in a positive and proactive mannery. You have broken the "mold" of the ineffectual, unyielding, and unresponsive stance of our State Senators of the recent past. Continue your work and Thank You!

Senator Romney, thank you for taking part in this reading and sharing a video of it. Your leadership over the years in government gives me hope that our congress will one day function again in the wisdom of bipartisan strength as our founders intended.

Glad to see this is a bi-partisan response and effort. We need more people like these fine people who are willing to work together and not just jump to name calling and feigned righteous anger. Thanks for posting this!

Wonderful words we would do well to take them to heart and even better to act them out, however hard that may be today..

    Mittens,
Too bad Martin is crying because of black lives matter. Do you really think he’d be happy with your actions? No!
Let me remind you in his own works, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” Where I’m there does it say the white man is the problem or that black people should have separate graduation, housing, hospitals, cities, or anything else?
But hell. You got your photo op with the crowds that signals just how woke you are. I’m sure this’ll go a long way in your run for President in 2024. 😂 Dude, so sorry! It’s hard to type laughing so hard. You’re not going make it past the primary unless somehow your primary challenger is Hillary.
But I’m just one voter. Who has nothing but time to keep your actions front and center. I know you’re old; however, never forget that the internet is forever.
The ad starts off with the words, “do you remember when you were told to stay at home or you’d kill grandma? Mitt didn’t care because he’s more important than the little people. He marched with people who thought it was okay to steal and then burn down a police station.” The tape rolls through burning cities and BLM shouting killing police. “And let’s not forget that he was the only republican to vote for impeachment despite knowing that the evidence of wrongdoing was as fake as Nancy’s wrinkleless face.” The video fades to Peter Strzok and Adam Schiff being being booked into prison. “Did Mitt keep his promise to Utah or did he spend six years trying to play DC elites. 97% of Utahans polled don’t think so. You be the judge on Election Day.”
I’m Jo Jo The Dog Faced Boy and I approve of this message.

Where did anyone say people of color should have their own graduation, schools, Capitals, etc? Did Mitt say that somewhere? When Black lives matter as much as yours, then everyone's life will matter. When everyone has equal opportunity, and feels an equal part of society we won't need separate graduations or schools.

You are the best! We support everything you do!!!!! You are what a Senator should be, the others in the Republican Party would do well to follow your example!!!

What rock do you live under? All Ivy League schools have black only graduation. Most large universities have safe spaces for people of color along with segregated housing.
The funny thing about black lives matter who say that if you don’t make a black box or any other virtue signaling your bad.
Mittens matched with this group saying that I’m evil because of the color of my skin. They want us to bow a knee and apologize for something that was was over before my ancestors came to this country. Mitt read the letter today about a man who wanted the color of your skin will as insignificant as hair color. I’m wondering how long it’ll be before he straps on a kente cloth and grovel like a worm. Not long I’m thinking! (Wow! That was quick! I thought it would’ve taken longer than 24 hours. I started this response two days ago.)
Give me a break! I’m betting you, or mittens for that matter, can’t tell me about the Wereth 11, the race freedom riders, or how many unarmed black men were killed by police in 2019. The answer are; what true hate and racism looks like(brutalized, defamed, and dumped in the snow by some of the evilest bastards that have ever crawled on the face of this earth), I’m thinking white people were in there to fight for true equality and we’re killed for it(do you know their story), and 9(that’s what an epidemic of police violence looks like. Understand that three of those nine the officers are in jail. The other six were police being beaten. That’s nine out of 350 million people, 2 million police interactions, and 19 unarmed whites killed by police.)
In saying that what those officers in the case of George Floyd did was wrong and horrible. I don’t know who has come out in support of this. But, is that a reason, as grandma said, “Don’t $h1+ where you eat!) How many of those peaceful protesters help the elderly women who now has no way to get the necessities of life because all the businesses have been burned to the ground? It’s no like they couldn’t get a limo for her with what they got for one of the designer bags they took as reparations.
Here’s a test. Which of the following is true; hands up don’t shoot, he was just playing in the park, police are hunting black men, the man was shot in the back while running away outside a Wendy’s, the white man George Zimmerman shot a boy in cold who was just walking back home eating a bag of skittles, he was just out for a jog, she was sleeping in her bed, and he didn’t do nothin. No fair getting the facts now. Like you’d spend time.
Yes, the blacks experience is unique for each person of color, but in what place in the country can you point to overt racism? Yes, intercity schools suck, but they have the highest level of funding and have for a generation. Yes, it’s hard for blacks, but hard for everyone else.
For neatly 60 years government program after program has thrown money at the problems, but things have only gotten worse.
I’m hearing mittens say that people of color are still no better off than they were in 1963. That the young black men are singled out by police. The school to prison pipeline will be broken if only we...
Have you or mittens read BLMs website? Here is what The Mitt is saying with his supports. Open the closet of any white man and you’ll find a hood. That white man might think he isn’t a racist, but he answers to all the dog whistles like America, families, veterans, management, the middle class, or the truly evil patriots. (The complete list can found on The Root website.) The white man has racism so engrained that he can’t help himself. He’ll use the number 88, smirks a a black teen wearing his pants around his knees, he’ll even cross the street to not have to share the sidewalk with a person of color. He has the power because of his race to enslave with a single unconscious micro-aggression like blinking (again this is well documented by The Root.) That’s what he’s saying with his His virtue signaling. Where does he think he’s going to go in 2024? Maybe back to the money influence or become a beloved guest host on cnn. One can only hope.
How about he gets to work representing the people of Utah?

      Burma Vickers
That’s it in a nutshell! The rest of the party can be a rudderless, pandering, do nothing waste of skin. He wants us to stay safe confined because the experts tell us to. He doesn’t go to the hill because he might catch something, like having to make a difficult stand. However, he can march with people that aren’t social distancing. Savior of the constitution which hangs by a thread! Only because he’s responsible for shredding in the first place.
