Hi, Thanks for the video, Jacob. 221(g) is so common on Pakistani passports. The weird fact is the more educated you are, the more chances that you have to wait years. It seems silly, I do not know the logic behind these rules. I have friends in their last year of PhDs, wanna go to attend conferences in the U.S. but were refused bsaed on 221(g).

So when you say if there were no visas available…
In the family based visas they have wasted 100s of thousands over the past few years. It was not that visas were not available, it was that the state department did not feel like issuing them. It is the same this year there are visas available for fy2024 but the state department doesn’t feel like issuing them. Can a lawsuit be launched?

That is exactly the point. They don’t issue visas that are available.

Embassy here in UAE has not been giving interviews for EB3 while other countries has monthly slot of 400-500. It has been a year since they have given slots. We are waiting here and we cannot transfer to other embassies because our work is based here. 😢 any advice? Do we have to call their attention? Current but no interviews and we dont want to wait on retrogression again.

I can’t believe that since sept 2021 stuck in DEC 1st, 2014 the F1 category only will advance to MAY 2015 in FY24 😫😱 according to this NVC predictions in April Visa Bulletin… Last “awaiting visa availability” USCIS report in last September there were 61 793 applicants in rest of the world; I was hoping that they would at least end with the 2015 cases.
It strikes me that in previous predictions of DOS they say that those movements will be monthly up to a date. Check this out: VB FEB 2019, VB JAN 2020, VB JAN 2021
I am the us citizen and have petitioned for my wife as of right now the only progress made was getting her work permit. I-130 and I-485 are still being processed. I now have been made aware of a significant debt to the irs totaling around $25,000. I will need to be setting a payment plan with them. I still have to do 2023 taxes and am planning to file jointly. I will also owe money for 2023. Please tell me how this should be dealt as it pertains to the immigration process. Should I just file jointly then set up payment plan? I of course can not set up payment plan until 2023 taxes are filed. Also what potential problems can this cause for my wife immigration case?

I would like to know that if I transfer my case to USA Consulate in Mexico from Islamabad Embassy. In my case, my Priority date will be changed as the one of Mexico?will it remain as priority date of my birth country Pakistan or the priority date does not matter as my interview will be scheduled based on when my documents are qualified? From the order in which my documents are qualified and when the date for visa interview is scheduled , I can appear for visa interview either in Pakistan or Mexico (if i show my mexican resident permit and transfer my case to Mexico). As I am very confused about this as in Mexico priority date is running differently and DQ date is also running differently. I would really appreciate your feedback.
Your priority date won’t change you just won’t get an interview. Why would you go from horrible to horrible? The DoS when they did their news bulletin on how many visas they issued last year EXPLICITLY SAYS AT THE BOTTOM, IF YOU CAN MOVE TO A FASTER EMBASSY, DOIT!
Just do it at a fast embassy like in Europe. They probably will say no to moving it to Mexico unless you live there full time.

No, transferring your case won't affect your priority date. It will remain the same as your Pakistan filing date.
What about category immediate ? Ir1-cr1 ? Who is getting appointments ? Inside the United States or outside ? No one is RUclips ever talk about category immediate
Well first of all is your I-130 approved ? and then the nacional visa center but because IR there is no waiting for a visa

Thank You So Much for Your Sincere Support. I am Egyptian and working as a university professor in Saudi Arabia I applied for immigration to join my family- my daughter is a US citizen- and my wife has her green card and living with our daughter and grandkids. My priority date is 31-March-2022 and my status at the NVC and visa class is IR5 and the foreign state chargeability is Egypt and the interview location is Riyad in Saudi Arabia. My question is why it is too late to get an interview ? When it is expected to happen? And finally is there any way to expedite the interview date ? Thank you so much again and again
