Great first vid ol. Youre a natural. Gotta be honest though, i thought the thumbnail was you holding an axe and you were showing us how to chop a head clean off in a step by step tutorial.
Do not stress too much, except maybe about recharging. I have been there 5 times, last time was 4 weeks, doing unexplored routes, I was 64 years old with two artificial hips. Free tip to make your journey exceptional: Do not follow the crowds and lazy guides through Tengboche monastery route twice, but go up via Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche High Scenic Trail offering vastly more impressive views high across the valley, lots of wildlife and practically no other trekkers. Come down via Tengboche. You will thank me a thousand times if you do that.
Thank you so much it's really appreciate all the advice. We have booked a planned guided trip this time around however I already know I will fall in love with the place and will want to return so this is really good to know 😊
@@mudgleyfather Depending on what kind of group you have you can ask/demand they take you via Phortse instead. No time or cost difference, 2 days Namche - Dingpoche both. I see no reason why the agency/guide could refuse (except that he might miss some kickbacks from Tengboche).
