Good day to you! I am a senior rider on HONDA motorcycle from Japan. I am enjoying camping ,touring and upload video. Your cycling video is so nice! Awesome! Have a nice day my friend!
Beautiful video. Be careful in France, I also went to cycle from Geneva to Lyon and follow the Via Rhona, but my bicycle was stolen in Lyon when I left it alone locked for 30 min.
Bike thieves are a problem everywhere (almost). Do not hesitate to ask if you can take your bike inside shops, shopping malls, supermarkets you can leave your bike by check out, restaurants (truckers restaurants backyard) People are more kind and helpful than most think, just ask. ⚠️ Bike must be clean.
@@claudemarie9136 many thanks Claude, that is true, good tip. I also bought an Amazon bike alarm for my bike and a apple AirTag to track my bike is someone steals it.
Hi! Which bus company from Amsterdam allowed you to take your bike onboard? Did it have to be stowed in a bike bag? Or did the bus have a bike rack? Thank you!
Hey, I went with Flix bus. They allow you to take your bike disassembled in a bag. You have to pay for extra luggage. Make sure to add this to your reservation and should be good. They have bike racks also but not in all the buses.
Haré, en un par de semanas, desde Valenza; Alessandria (norte de Italia) hasta Gijón, Asturias, España. Me vino de perlas tu viaje para uno de los tramos. Saludos
Thanks for the nice video! I'm planning s trip from Italy to Spain and i will take part of eurovelo 8 But i want to do a lot of gravel and off road so my question is: is the eurovelo 8 from France to Spain all on paved roads? Thanks and I wish you many good kilometers!
Hi, Many thanks for your comment. I like to go for a minimalistic setup because like this I can cover more kilometers every day. I have not checked the exact total weight of my setup, but it is something I might do for one of my upcoming videos ;) thanks. You can find a review of the gear I took on this trip on my channel :)
Hello, very nice video always have fun by watching. Is the via rhona and the mediterranean route completely passable by roadbikes or were bikes with gravel tires an advantage?
Thank you I use the Scicon Pocket Bike Bag item number 16 in my lightweight bikepacking gear review, you can find more info and the link to the bag , I normally fold the bag and carried in my saddle bag ruclips.net/video/K3ywbgKeRfI/видео.html

Unfortunately Lyon like most other major european cities is notorious for thieves.
Amazing trip

Sounds great, eurovelo is a mix but mostly paved cycle lanes some gravel but not much. Happy cycling
Super vidéo Merci pour ses belles images,
L'Aventure continue, clic sur le smiley.
Is it possible to ride this road with a vélo mobile ?
Merci :) it is quite flat in most sections in France on this route, I think parts of it should be possible
Hi from Illinois. I love French croissants as well, especially chocolate! I may not make it out of that town!
thanks :) bakeries in France are great and super cheap :)
@2:40 : roadies 😂

Many thanks :) that sounds great! Alpe d'Huez is also in my bucket list
Excellent. You were travelling with very little luggage? What weight were you carrying?

Where do u leave ur bike during ur stay at hotels? Can u take it to ur room in most cases?
Normally i take a bag that is foldable with me, so I can put my bike inside it and take it to the hotel room as luggage, it worked well.
Hiiii, love you video. There is places to do some camping?
Thanks, plenty of places for camping and b&b in the Eurovelo routes
Great video. Your accent sounds maybe Peruvian ? Thanks for the armchair adventure…
Thanks for your comment :) close but is actually Colombian
Hello, very nice video always have fun by watching. Is the via rhona and the mediterranean route completely passable by roadbikes or were bikes with gravel tires an advantage?
Thanks Marcel, I think you can use a road bike but have at least 30 mm tyres, most of the areas I rode were paved but there was also some light gravel
Maxis High Road tyres and flats seem to go together.
yes! It is the last time I use these tyres, working on replacing them with Continental
Bravo 🎊
many thanks :)
Hello from Canada. How was the navigation on this route? Any issues? Is it well marked?
Thank you so much!! yes the route was great the eurovelo routes are really well marked
Super
Thanks 😊
Hello and what make of bags do you use for the bus and what do you do with them when you unpack the bikes?

@@Buzzalong.cycling Thanks and I look forward to to your videos etc!
Cool trip. What did you do with your bike bags? Mail them back home?
Thank you :) i folded it and carried it in my saddle bag, the bike bags are lightweight and packs small
Nice video work. Speeding up the video the way you did showed a lot of nice scenery. What time of year was this?
Thanks William, it was in October, so it was a bit cold already.
@@Buzzalong.cycling, for us Canadians, no snow or rain is perfect weather for bicycling ;-).
Have you tried tubeless for bikepacking ?
Yes, tubeless is great :)
Just one question we’re u go for a toilet Cz you rideing bike all day
Thanks for your comment :) normally I tend to go to Cafes or a big supermarket, combining the toilet break with getting some food.
Do you have a route-link (Komoot)?
I dont have a Kommoot route but I used mostly the gpx from the Eurovelo 8, you can find the gpx and info on their website en.eurovelo.com/ev8
Take care cycling community in lyon or south of france, so many bikes are stolen ! Mines are in my flat not in my box🤷
Thank you for the advice
@@Buzzalong.cycling with pleasure👍
I discover your videos also, very pleasant to watch 😉
Cool adventure! You have a Instagram account?
yes, sherry.cycling :)
nice trip. this is credit card bike touring, not bikepacking.
