I'm extremely impressed you stayed on task and kept to the script when old mate broke in half @13:56... think we all had the same facial expression though!
Looks like your Titan self destructed , Jay. Great job assembling and painting the Warhound. Too bad they are so expensive, for most of us. Thanks for sharing this video with us.
@crusher8017 all a matter of what you have more of. A teen with 300 bucks and nothing to do would make a different decision than a 80yo with millions. Everyone in the middle can make their own choice. Its just nice to have options
Absolutely amazing paint scheme. Epic technique. Well done. You do realise you could have dragged building and painting this out for a good year or so like other RUclipsrs though right? But nope, had to smash it out in two weeks. That's why we come here.
Yeah man Ngl kinda hate hiw other channels have milked out single titan builds for like 10 vids, I get they take ages and its nice to see the progess but dunno I lost interest in them after a few vids and just come back when its done haha
I'm always drawn to paint in blues, greens, and grays. But, you inspired me to try red and yellow for a Battle Tech Mad Cat I was working on. I love the brighter colors! Awesome paint job on the Titan and thank you for sharing!
Wow, I find it hard to believe you would part with such a beautifully painted Warhound, even for a Reaver. I always have such close attachment to miniatures (or bigatures) I put a lot of work into that end up looking awesome.
The 80’s movie soundtrack really sold this video! Great job on a gorgeous model! I about had a heart attack when that little whoopsie with the torso and the space marines happened! 😮
Woah, your painting has easily become my favorite, the combination of restraint and fun and maybe those prop making sensibilities has me completely enamored
Jay, you need to get some Adeptus Titanicus on; would be good to have a mini-me for your Warhound (or eventual Reaver). Plus Titanicus needs more love!
As a fellow rescued warhound owner (thanks eBay) the torso attack was too relatable. The original owner of my Titan posed the ankles slightly too far forward so its quite front heavy and might’ve nosedived on my plague marines the first time I played with it.
I love how it looks, but the plasma coil would be the other way around, the heat comes from within, so the recesses are hotter than the outer parts. Also, Army painter needs a good shake before you really judge it. Shake it four times as long as you think you need to. Then shake it some more.
What's cool about the sponsor is that I can tell you are not shilling because you regularly use those paints 🙂 PS: JESUS CHRIST MY HEART STOPPED DURING THE SHOOTING PHASE ACCIDENT
The AP Air paint is great. So good that in a couple of years of getting these paints established I think AP should drop their Warpaints range and use the Air range as their core paints. They're great with a brush too.
Well, technically, this one is not the first titan from Forge World. The Warhound had its first release as the Lucius pattern, which was a rather angular and boxy-looking design. The one on display here is the Mars pattern, with its more rounded armour panels, and that got its release years after the Lucius-pattern model. . . . I'll take the exit for unnecessarily nitpicky nerds. That being said, you've done an amazing job with the model, holy cow!
The inability to move as he processes the event of knocking the torso off the body, the genuine fear that he scratched the paint or broke the models is shared
I know chances are this comment will probably not be seen, but what's with the connectors for the arms to the shoulders? Are they locks? Or magnets that have been drilled all the way through? It looks interesting and I'm getting ready to build my warhound. Id like to know my options for transporting the body and the arms.
I understand your point. I think the reason for Jay wanting to pant things quickly comes from a thought he expressed a while back, where he showed us a number of minis, some were done quickly and some taking entire days before he told himself to stop and declare the mini completed. He was always happier with the ones finished sooner, seeing the little bit of time invested reflecting significantly on the quality of the work, while the long-term painted minis always felt like they were lacking and needing more work, but already having a huge amount of time invested for what could be diminishing returns on his work or unnoticeable improvements.
Your paint job looks lovely! But... those exposed nuts that hold the weapons on do spoil things a little. Could Nick maybe design and print some greebly looking caps to hide them? You could fit magnets to the caps to keep them in place even.
just found your video. You did a fantastic job with this Warhound though! Would you use the screw for an Ork Stompa as well? I got an Forgeworld stompa here who is screaming for my attention. Keep up your nice work!
I didn't realize the Warhound could shoot its torso forward as a final attack.
Rapid, Unscheduled disassembly!
I wonder how many Space Marines that super secret final attack killed
roll 6 for explode..kinda
*Ejector seat? You're joking!*
In the Titanicus 40k book there was a warhound that ejected its head to save the crew that was just a lore accurate final attack
When it fell on the army, my heart dropped, I hope the paint survived!
Not only yours. I audibly gasped. So happy the models survived.
You can see EOB’s life flash before his eyes.
Could use a couple pegs to secure it instead of magnets
@@jerryreynolds5700 His name is Jay. He says it in the beginning of almost every video. EOB is a project of two people.
@@marcwittkowski5146 sounds good
As a fellow titan owner, 13:56 was the most relatable part of this video
How many spacemarines died there?
@@velazquezn many, but not as much as you would think, just like the video once more
500 hundred killed
Would it count as Deadly Demise?
The red and yellow are a very striking McChoice. I'm lovin how it turned out.
My disappointment in you is complete. But your mastery of the dad joke is unparalleled
That melee attack where it destroys the models is amazing
13:55 actually had to look away. Hahah poor templars. Great video guys
I actually gasped. That was horrible to watch!
As a USC fan, the image of your cardinal and gold mech standing on destroyed, blue and gold, possibly UCLA tank, warms my heart. I approve :p
I'd love to see a tour of your workspace! Peeking at that cool map rack you've added has got me thinking
JAY QUICK, I NEED A BATTLEFIELD REPORT FOR THE MARINES THAT HAVE BEEN CRUSHED BY THE FALLING TITAN TORSO
I'm counting at least seventeen or twenty
Best thing about EOB is the video frequency. The content doesn't even suffer, and you guys put out videos like mad lads. Sheesh
I'm extremely impressed you stayed on task and kept to the script when old mate broke in half @13:56... think we all had the same facial expression though!
Army Painter is awesome, and they constantly get better as a manufacturer.
Looks like your Titan self destructed , Jay. Great job assembling and painting the Warhound. Too bad they are so expensive, for most of us. Thanks for sharing this video with us.
3d printing has gotten super cheap
@@wray272 But the print time is massive. Hundreds of hours.
@crusher8017 all a matter of what you have more of. A teen with 300 bucks and nothing to do would make a different decision than a 80yo with millions. Everyone in the middle can make their own choice. Its just nice to have options
True that.
That’s is my favorite titan pattern, I’ve wanted one for a decade now. There is something about the war hound that just has my heart
I love that you went really vibrant and colorful with this rather than grimdark and realistic. It's so visually interesting.
Absolutely amazing paint scheme. Epic technique. Well done. You do realise you could have dragged building and painting this out for a good year or so like other RUclipsrs though right? But nope, had to smash it out in two weeks. That's why we come here.

Eric gets a pass for building the largest titan ever from scratch and having to transport it across borders.
@@joesturn7740 yeah and tbh his builds are so damn impressive. And he only usually does 2 or 3 part series which are so worth it!
Tbf the warlords are much larger
@@joesturn7740 Hell yes he does. What a mad lad.
Idk why but I love when Jay dumps a giant pile of tools/paint/models across the desk.
I'm always drawn to paint in blues, greens, and grays. But, you inspired me to try red and yellow for a Battle Tech Mad Cat I was working on. I love the brighter colors! Awesome paint job on the Titan and thank you for sharing!

Hey! You just played 9th edition! Jobs done. 2023 goals complete. See you in 2024.
Jay, you need to get some Adeptus Titanicus on; would be good to have a mini-me for your Warhound (or eventual Reaver). Plus Titanicus needs more love!
That thing's an absolute beauty. Lovely work.
Excellent paint job, Jay! I hope those Space Marines survived the impromptu torso-smash attack!
That's THE MOST BADASS titan I ever saw in my life! Metallic shine really brings this god to the world of mortals.
That new intro music SLAPS
@The Army Painter put this man on the dev team!
I just want you to know I enjoyed this video and I could watch you paint titans over and over it’s very therapeutic
Great job Jay - it’s come out looking amazing
Loved the editing and cinematography of this episode. Fantastic action shots of the painting.
From a rescued model to finished painted masterpiece, this looks great!
Ooh roughing in the gradients by hand and then cleaning up with the airbrush is a nice trick!
Imo the best part is your colour choices for the base, as well as the rhino hull to emphasize the scale
As a fellow rescued warhound owner (thanks eBay) the torso attack was too relatable.
The original owner of my Titan posed the ankles slightly too far forward so its quite front heavy and might’ve nosedived on my plague marines the first time I played with it.
Love that you painted it with my Clans tartan pattern and colors.
Looking so cool!
Oh my gosh the drop..!
I must say, that this is the best painted Titan I've seen.
Loved seeing you do something different with the camera shots for this video
I love how it looks, but the plasma coil would be the other way around, the heat comes from within, so the recesses are hotter than the outer parts.
Also, Army painter needs a good shake before you really judge it. Shake it four times as long as you think you need to. Then shake it some more.
Probably my favorite thing I've seen you paint. Really lovely work!
That is a seriously cool spacemarine!
Awesome job! You really nailed that 90s GW look, especially the trim. It looks like the boardering of all the codexes and army books from the era.
Yeah! They are doing an amazing job censoring the comments! wow EoB is so cool with their censorship in comments!
Dropping a titan on your army is a real power move 💪
What's cool about the sponsor is that I can tell you are not shilling because you regularly use those paints 🙂

that is a gorgeous paint job, fantastic work.
Oooh Army Painter with the sponsorship! Very nice!
I love my army painter air set. You did such a great job! The model looks fantastic!
The AP Air paint is great. So good that in a couple of years of getting these paints established I think AP should drop their Warpaints range and use the Air range as their core paints. They're great with a brush too.
Loved it! I paused Netflix for this. Love your videos, good laughs great paint job.
Super nice work! The model turned out fantastic, and your editing is absolutely on point in this vid
Well that was unexpected 😂 your face when the titan fell, lucky it didn't fall onto the entire 2000 pts 😂
This video was TITANIC!
The titan said you are taking to long and just fell on your poor little marines. That warhound was just like for the emperor!!!
That Warhound looks great!:)
Great video like always! Puts me in a really good mood. A shocking moment when the upper part fell down. Hope it wasn't too much to repair.
You've done a really gorgeous job on this one! I think I gasped out loud when the top fell off!
When the head fell off my heart stopped for a second
Great video. I loved seeing your workflow.
Love this channel - just something so approachable about this dude!
I hope you get your trade!! Your warhound is gorgeous!!!!!!!

When you airbrushed that gradient I fell my shoulder. That's quite a lot of wetblending and glazing with a brush to get a similar effect damn.
Awesome work on the paint job and detail
Can't explain how excited ive been for this video!!!
my favorite mini painter painted my favorite mini, im in love
I knew I liked you for a reason. Reaver titan best titan.
Definitely looks very cool
13:00 but.. blast weapons can't be shot when in engagement range :P
The inability to move as he processes the event of knocking the torso off the body, the genuine fear that he scratched the paint or broke the models is shared
Ap air paints made me change my mind about ap paints. They are really good Nd that set includes florescents!
13:56 *TITANOLANCHE!!!* 😱😱😱
dude that is an awesome retro paint job bro
I painted up some howling griffons a while back. They would probably love to see this guy coming over the hill as a reinforcement.

Looking good! The Chumba Womba reference made my day.
I like it so much more when you take time to paint, they always come up awesome. Not a fan of all the "see how quick i can paint them" vids

I always thought this model looked so goofy
I'm with you. It looks so dumb to me xD
I like the older design for it, it looks more utilitarian and less like a silly wolf for no real reason other than it has hound in its name.
I think it looks like a big scout walker
It's awesome
Your paint job looks lovely! But... those exposed nuts that hold the weapons on do spoil things a little. Could Nick maybe design and print some greebly looking caps to hide them? You could fit magnets to the caps to keep them in place even.
Amazing work Jay
Fast forward to 57th edition where all the new minis are bigger than this 👍🤣🤣
haha, you totally got me with the 2003
Why didn't you do a plasma glow coming from inside the plasma cannons barrel?
Nice paint job! That is a boss titan!
You are showing off some nice airbrush skills
My heart dropped when it fell 😅 was scared for a bit! 😂 well done on the work though. Looks amazing!
we should probably account how many kills its signature torso launcher move does into the final kill count
That looks amazing. Great job!
Keep up the good work
just found your video. You did a fantastic job with this Warhound though! Would you use the screw for an Ork Stompa as well? I got an Forgeworld stompa here who is screaming for my attention. Keep up your nice work!
Amazing paint job!
Aww seeing that beautiful freehand banner get blood splatter everywhere hurt haha
Lovely Warhound! Nicely done! 👍🎅👍
the titan torso falling on the marines just made me writhe in pain 🤣
I wouldn't have the Gaul to trade such a gorgeous looking thing!
12:55 - Jay finally plays some 9th Ed
Ah yes, the secret titan weapon: take off your torso and chuck it at the enemy :D
Warlord Titans do have an interior inside the head, if you’re talking about the crew cabin I agree they do not.
13:56 I felt that pain in my soul.
Is that colour scheme Legio Ignatum?
5:46 is that a paint brush? It almost looks like a pen.
