We're so lucky that G.G. wanted to share his stoke with all of us.Watched him at Rincon when I was a grom and wanted to be just like him when I grew up. I never grew up.
a true "da vinci", george is creative and decently financed. a perfectionist, obviously, representing with hard work and determination. I've only seen 1 or 2 knee riders, perhaps 1 was george.
I saw this movie at the Santa Cruz Civic in 1973.We were riding inflatable rafts around here in the summer back then. I bought one with twin fins at Thrifty Drug store. Awesome flick.
36:03 OG GoPro ! What a pioneer ! GG would be amazed what we have now.

The best!
Thanks for sharing this awesome movie!
Great that you posted this killer mix of Surf and Oz Rock but where's the end footage that uses Pink Floyd's "Echoes" ???
A masterpiece thanks for sharing
At least a decade before the surfboard leash became popular.
NICCCCCCCCCCCEEEEE YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!
Where's the section with Pink Floyd's Echoes? A third of the film is missing!
Would love to hear your feedback and old stories if anyone has some! Cheers!
Why did you delete the Echos segment?
i didnt. the footage i found didnt have the full film in tact. i have the original film being delivered soon and will share that!@@joeblow1942
The Malibu footage doesn't look that different from today, 3-5 guys who can barely surf riding one wave on archaic equipment
Literally arent watching where they drop same as it ever was
That’s no shade to this film. The film is amazing.
@@danamquinn1 Oh for sure its a sick film, more just a comment on how at malibu not much has changed

That's what I heard years ago 🏄
Probably some of Jalama ..but a lot I believe was shot on the Hollister Ranch ...
We’re all chasing a kneeboarder
Face it, he makes the skateboarders look bad.
