I don't know whether it's because "should you buy it" has returned with a good product, we're making cookies, or the fact that the sausage isn't that bad afterall. But this episode feels very pleasant and comfy

Same. I used 2 different cookie presses last year and thought all were inherently junk. Tried all the tricks and settled on 2 shapes that actually worked about 80% of the time.
Yeah I had one growing up and they work great and you can make any shape size or length super easy

I had one of these and made the recommended cookies.
They were flakey and a bit dry but looked like the flower pattern and I was impressed. I used cake frosting to make them into Oreo style cookie sandwiches and holy smokes I still think about those fricken things. lost the gun and the recipe but I'd kill for another.

20 years ago, my grandma and mom got me a sesame street one of these for christmas. at least, i thought it was mine, until everyone realized my small child arms weren't strong enough to push out the butter cookies. my parents were able to use it, and it made some excellent cookies. my mom has used it to make butter cookies nearly every christmas since then. i'm not sure i've used it since then. I hardly ever see it unless it's actively in use. it's good to know i can get my own high-quality cookie press one day
before that tho, im gonna snag my old one next christmas while no one's looking and make cookies shaped like big bird

I just wanted to take a moment to say I got this cookie press for my best friend/ housemate as a Christmas gift. Today was her first time using it, and she loves it. Works as advertised, she's over the moon with all the tiny cookies she can make for when she has guests for game night or whatever. 👍👍
