Just Fabulous!
Rachel, LOVE THIS! I was doing stuff like this back in 70's at the height of cabaret craze, so wasn't always appreciated. My double sword was unique and still waiting to see someone do it "my way", grin. Was doing fusion before it was accepted and didn't know it. Was taught by Bedouin students back in El Paso, Texas in '63. So nice to see it finally coming into its own!
Thank you. Trying to get back into dancing again, even if 68 yrs old/young! Kudos!!

Just one more reason why I cannot WAIT to get to Portland. ^_^ (I dunno if big girls are welcome, but ohh.. how -amazing- it would be to get to take classes there!! ^_^) Now all I have to do is find a place and a job that'll take a semi-blind artsy chick! *lol* LOVE this, and -so- hoping to be able to be a part of this magic someday! *beams* Lililililili-yiiiiIP!!! *cheers*
There is something SO special about Rachel Brice's movement!! She just...stands out! I hope my personality can pop like hers when I grow enough courage to perform one day :).
Don't get me wrong though! ALL the dancers were perfect!! Hopefully you or someone will respond back...but what is the song that starts playing at 2:15????? It totally sounds like a song from Xena LOL!! I love it!!!!!! I would LOVE to do a piece to it!!
Awesome!!! Beautifull!! What is the music, please. Thank you very much.
Fucking awesome.
Ivy, I think it's Omar Khorshid's "Rakset el Fadaa".
although the comments been marked as spam, I would be interested also, in what type of zills they are using and in the zill rhythms. Why is it marked as spam?
Would you share the individual songs with us? Artists and names of the songs themselves. I just love it all! Thanks so much! Yip!
2e and 3e song are "buzz & in love" by hippster trio
Adivassi Ecole de danse Actually it's an old song called Rakset El Fadaa and it's by Omar Korshid.
what are the songs you used Rachel?
does anyone know the name of the songs?
Anyone know that last piece of music?
