Welcome to this video on our latest travel trip to the beautiful city of Elche, on Spains Costa Blanca.
The city of Elche, or “Elx” in the local lingo, has a population of around 240,000 people, and lies about 7 miles inland from the sea. Elche is so close to the city of Alicante and Alicante Airport.
Elche is world famous for its palm trees and the best place to see them would be to head to the Palmeral de Elche, which is contains more than 11,000 palm trees.
Beautiful well kept gardens surround the city, and surrounding the must see ‘Basilica of Santa Maria’ are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy Elche’s lively and trendy atmosphere.
