Thresh's basic abilities are insanely versatile, able to counter dashes, set up ganks and give people an emergency escape route.
And then we have the ult, which is pretty much just there because we can't have a champion without an ult 😂
Thresh ult can be used quite creatively, mainly area control or making combos more deadly.,
if his ult was just slightly better he would be permabanned. He is way too stronger even without ult
Bunnyfufuu's outplay on Doublelift is my number 1. No contest, completely insane.
Never forget about that play lmao, so glad they included it and gave bunny his props

Yeo he is. You can engage and disengage with every single ability and you have a high skill cap. Idk why they kept nerfing him this season when mage supports deal absurd amounts of dmg

Keria thresh against DK was something else, I’ve never seen such a hard carry support in competitive like Keria thresh did in the game against DK

That was a great list. I remember watching Madlife's Thresh, and it was actually just that insane 100% of the time.
All stars madlife hooking after Faker's Lee sin kick is deserving of a spot
As well as Xpecial's Thresh flaying J4 three times in a row.

Bunnyfufuu is the #1 thresh main GOD in my opinion, he's just too good at predicting
Xpecial denial flay on Saintvicious Jarvan. Makes a lane ungankable. To quote Rivington III: "Xpecial,why you so good?!"
Flay is such a great tool, useful for setting up easy hooks, knocking people into the ult walls and knocking people out of their dashes.
Yup this was the thing that came to my mind even though ive seen a couple of others on this list. The atmosphere in that game seemed crazy good 👍

keria's thresh against dk was the single best carry performance I've ever seen on a thresh

Probably it's because it's not strictly a tresh outplay, but the imp+Mata Lucian tresh kills in lane at words 2014 were what hooked me to lol Esport. So crisp
Pretty good list; would’ve added madlife’s combo with fakers lee sin r from all stars
I don't know if it is a genius play but I remember Mata pulling Score's Skarner wth Blank's J4 ulted into their own turret in the 2018 LCK Spring playoffs. That was pretty insane

I'm pretty sure there are more deserving thresh plays to be in the top 5 than hyli's and edward's.
Talon was invisible because of his R. Hyli did all blind. Mad respect for that one.
Hyli’s doesn’t look spectacular to me. He threw that hook the same angle Talon would have been on if he ran straight back toward tower. Talon used a silly flash along that same line. Hook hits if Talon flashes or not. No one would think anything of that play if Talon doesn’t flash. A good hook is a good hook but top 5 ever maybe not.

Yellowstar will forever be my all time favourite European support player, man brought me into league and I left with him, still watch every year, but no longer play
Hakuho stole the baron with his Thresh against CLG , his whole team was dead , the announcers were stunned
Whenever i predict their movement or flash hook my team would ask if i'm madlife🤗 and yes i love him alot bc he shows me i can carry as a support
