Jiejie Ult everyone away and clear the path for a long-range snipe shot from Scout's Zoe to kill Canyon was absolutely amazing
that young kid in the jungle played with no fear. And for game 5 of the final, he picked a champion he had no wins on. That takes balls.
And there are still people who insist that EDG won by luck.

Even Riot here shows once again that Riot not giving the FMVP to Jiejie it was irrational, Jiejie was crucial for the wins and he got 2 MVPs in the 2 previous wins, in this one Flandre did a lot the whole match, Jiejie was at the right place at the right time to make the difference and Meiko controlled the vision and made big engages in mid and late, meanwhile, they ignored all of that. Landing that bubble on Ziggs was their criteria? That one where they got Canyon, it was also Jiejie setting that up, engage+Xin's ulti and Meiko initiating on Canyon, Scout greatly followed the play with his mechanics to finish him up.
They probably just give to scout because he stayed with edg for almost his entire career

Meiko performed well providing vision. Viper played consistently. Its just a all around team.
@@MrWarhead16 Meiko performed more then well. Unlike jiejie, he doesn't have a champion pool problem this season that dragged down the team's b/p. When the team needed nami, he pulled out nami. When the team needed yuumi, he pulled out yuumi. When the team needed Zilean, he pulled out Zilean.

@@GIN.356.A I think its just for the memes. But if you compare the midlaners at the final, Scout got the upper hand. But all throughout the season and Worlds, Showmaker performed incredibly well.
Showmaker is insanely overrated, couldn’t even match up to Cryin. It was a crime that people didn’t see Scout as the second best midlaner coming into Worlds.
They dethroned them by destroying their nexus.

To be fair - this was the best worlds Finals ever.
2019 was the best worlds ever, but the final was so disappointing.
If the 2019 worlds had such an intense final like this one it would have been the perfect worlds.

i think damwon's dominance was way overstated by everyone as compared to last year's damwon. the fact that t1 could bring them to 5 games shows that they aren't unbeatable. up until the semis they got relatively easy opponents with the exception of FPX who decided to troll on stage. t1 proved that dk weren't the unbeatable titans that they were in 2020 and edg confirmed that in the finals.
oh, and they lost msi as well. that should speak alot about this
IMHO, most ppl put way too much weight on group stage performances when they are evaluating teams. Sure Bo1 does give you some degree of indication the form a team is in but it's vastly different from a Bo3/Bo5 setting where top teams can show their flexibility, adaptability, depth of champion pool etc etc.

I really loved the SKT vs SSB when SSB won, cuz it was the year before they flashed in finals and you saw Crown get DESTROYED by his own Viktor piloted by Faker.... Then they evolve over a year to win it... That was an emotional series when SKT finally fell
