Re: who if anyone is dragging the podcast down - neither of you! Personally I wasn't following Maal before this podcast, but I truly love that it's the two of you having conversations with each other. I feel like you're kind of modeling what female friendship can look like, and how it can be deep and profound and how women can have such interconnected lives with their friends even into adulthood. Like I feel seeing the way you guys have these conversations has made me think about how I show up or don't in my own friendships, and how I can do better. I love the pod and you guys!! 💜💜
i, for one, LOVE the duality of you two and the way you guys talk about things. i feel like i'm listening in on a FaceTime call with friends. this is the best podcast i've ever listened to!
This podcast is so special to me I feel like I’m part of a sleepover. You guys speak exactly how my friends and I do. Would love you to talk a bit about kissing and/or queer sex, since I know it’s something that gets a lot more censored on TikTok. Only if you’re comfortable of course, I know not everyone likes talking about those topics, especially to an audience you don’t know. I just love hearing other queer women’s perspectives on the topic.
Genuinely the only podcast i will listen to all the way through,, I usually like stop in the middle but this podcast has made me feel safe and both of you talk about things I'm experiencing right now, I'm so grateful & lucky that I started listening to this podcast! It has made me feel less alone and more eager to grow as a person! this podcast is a really genuine one and it flows so well because you guys are so comfortable with each other! I hope I get to experience a friendship like yalls! 💗💗💗
I used to be a "pick me" for lack of a better term, and I still struggle so much with internalized misogyny. I have always centered my life around men and have struggled so much with female friendships because of jealousy. Listening to Madeline talk about the Captain and how much you've changed from 20 to 27 and that you didn't unlearn your internalized misogyny until 22 gives me so much hope. I forget how young I am and how much time I have to change and to make incredible female friendships and I feel like I found you both at the perfect time.
never commented before, but I've been here since day 1, and I LOVE both of you, and I love that you're doing this together, literally my favorite podcast ever
Madeline I’ve been following you since forever and I’m so happy you found a person that fits your vibes soooooo well (love Maal she’s so profound and important) love you and you’re so right it WILL be selfish to keep those conversations to yourselfs💜💜
You guys are so right about thank you next in fact I got chills when you mentioned the part where Ari starts singing about herself it was def a powerful moment in pop culture
when my ex gf and i were dating i used to be obsessed with her ex and so jealous of her. It drove me crazy eventually though we broke up and they got back together. I then remember stalking the ex (now gfs) page that i was so jealous of and seeing her reposting a video saying “nobody talks about the obsession you have with the girl who came before you”. So then i realized it had gone completely full circle and now she was obsessed with me since now I was the ex. It was a very eye opening experience.
This podcast is so wholesome and comforting. It feels like a safe space to talk about and learn things. I love the friendship you two have and your dynamic. This was such a good episode!! ❤️🫶💋
This episode was so interesting to me. You both have such cool things to say, I love your energy and conversations. ❤️ This is a really general comment but please know the podcast is great!
I don‘t know how anyone could think either of you should‘ve done this without the other, because the richest quality of this pod is how you two are TOGETHER!!! That‘s what makes it so good :)
thank u for telling us -- we learned something new today! we've updated the eppy description & added a note about the colonialist roots of the term. we are sincerely sorry
@@dreamylove4196 instead of responding with ignorance and dismissiveness, try doing a little research. it's good to learn about things that don't affect you
actually, I don't think one of you is somehow spoiling this podcast and neither of you is "pulling this podcast down" because this podcast is literally ABOUT THE TWO of YOU, each of you brings something to the table (cidiom) and this podcast is you. so there is no need to doubt yourself, people are watching and listening to this podcast not because of the title, any particular topic that you are discussing or your background in the form of a castle. people listen to this podcast because they want to listen to the TWO of YOU(at least me). and I really love your dynamics, the way you support and praise each other reminds me of how beautiful and loving women are. thank you for filming these episodes.🎀🫡💋

"eskimo sisters" is a really racist term. please consider not using it in the future!
