I am so psyched to see China get with the rap culture. Rap music helped me get through so much and I believe it's a musical style for all cultures and backgrounds. I've been learning Mandarin for about 6 + months and super excited to start rapping with some Chinese talents someday.

I'm really curious now. I don't follow trap that much so I'm ignorant on trap culture. It seems that beef between cities is an even bigger thing than in 90's hip hop, its like engraved in trap artists' mind and they often call each other out (like in this video) despite working for a common goal, in this case putting Chinese Trap on the map. Can anyone fill me in, on why specifically this is so important?
