- This slide show takes you through the making of a simple brooch using foldforming, and cold assembly-using tabs to put the pin together. Simple tools and annealing on a stove-top are shown. I suggest you put some music on-there is no audio in this version.
Beautiful work Charles and thank you for finding the concept of fold forming. There had to be Brains in your family :) Ya, you've probably heard that one too many times but I mean it as a compliment. I started working with copper 35 yrs ago but wound up spending too many years making hand made mass production jewellery, but at the same time I did enjoy it.
For beginners, copper has to be the most forgiving metal and it's relatively cheap too.
