Sad thing is, this is the evolution of Perfect Golf. Those guys were making PC games, but then left for Trackman. You can see the Perfect Golf DNA all over this. PG2 was meant to be a thing but never came about. Desperately need it.
I know. It was Mike Jones and Andrew Jones. Perfect Golf just got left at v1.43 as they both joined Trackman to use the Perfect Golf course creating skills to make the virtual courses for Trackman. PG still lives but only a handful of the old community are still playing it.
@@msum23 if it's an evolution of PG, then there is nothing to be excited about. I bough PG on Steam few weeks back, and it has the worst ball physics I've seen in my life. Even old Links 2003 have a lot better physics and generally ball behavior. I wish I didn't wasted 30 bucks on PG.
Great, but what's the point when a Trackman's pricepoint is out of reach for most people. You'd do far better if you created a launch monitor for the average golf consumer
Agreed! The technology is weirdly expensive? They're a good iPhone Ap away from being obsolete yet are charging thousands of dollars for a camera and housing? This industry has Blockbuster written all over it. I'm a flight simulator guy and you can buy a full motion 6 axis motion rig for what these shot trackers cost?
we need perfect golf 2, this looks exactly like it! Looks like a dream for us PC folk :( Feels like such a waste to not offer it for PC, even along the Flight Sim route. Course library is insane. To know there is a game out there that looks this good, while we're stuck with those other two games is disheartening.
Absolutely stunning new graphics engine. Is the game model now also updated accordingly to more accurately model a stroke to what you see on the screen? In the previous version, it seemed a bit random if a branch would catch it when e.g. playing a shot out under trees. It would be great if the newly modelled assets are more 1:1 with the physics used for the ball flight 😃
If the trackman io was 5k I would have bought one instantly. Even the trackman 4 if it was 8k. I can’t justify it. Should make it so more people can purchase one and get on board for sure.
@shearerforgold who has initially 12k+ for the whole setup + for the golf clubs, 250 is NOTHING! And yes, it looks better than any PC golf game currently, even EA one.
much prefer how this game looks over pga 2k23 or the recent PGA tour game... 2007, really? That's insane cost though, no wonder they won't release it on PC. It's literally just Perfect Golf with updated graphics.
Just need to release a PC golf simulation game now using this. The PC golf community need something like this.

@@Pe11ePD Its just the graphics that moved over to TM, the ball physics of TM is still the best out there.
Please consider a PC version again. Perfect Golf was amazing and many still play it!
Getting almost as good as HD Golf. Keep working you're almost there.

I think the sensitive radar or high speed cameras are valuable

Well that all depends on the collision detection and how the trees are modelled
@@TheFoyer13 Yes exactly 😊 Hence my question if that part has been changed/improved from the previous version...😉
@nielsaxelsson well you see if that will depend on if they have done it or not
I am about to land my VR plane and go for a round!

Golf is made for VR.
get golf+ on these graphics and its the perfect golf simulator to date
Swinging a golf club with a VR headset is not ideal
Please port this to PC somehow. We need an ultra realistic golf game again.
“Early morning fog in the soft glow of a sunset” err who wrote that script 😂😂😂😂😂😂
When a Trackman sim has better visuals (and quite possibly physics) than any PC golf sim, you got to question yourself, real hard.
Somehow gspro is 250usd per year and really doesn't look that good..

bilionaires if they made the game available for other LMs
Such a risk for a ceo to decide to make such a big change. If they start to lose sales they will.
Ummm... yep.
Only in golf sim/launch monitor land do they sell you each course for $300+ with graphics barely on par with PGA golf 2007.

@@msum23 Agree this looks much better. Should have made it clear, but I was just pointing out the insane prices of golf sim software in general.
Do we get chemtrails?!
Chemtrails cant exist because the earth is flat
Bring to vr
Unless you've got a spare 40k I will have 2
No VR no realism.
I could actually go golfing cheaper than this
