The one thing I just cannot get past is the beginning of the 911 call. Most people don't realize that the line is being recorded even when the call is ringing prior to dispatch answering. Why was Alex dead silent, while the line was ringing, but then the moment the dispatcher answers, suddenly he starts breathing heavy and crying as if on cue?? That entire call was an act in my opinion.

My Sister was shot in the head, left for dead. She lived paralyzed for 6 years before she passed...It literally killed our Mother. My Sister was only 56 when she passed. I cared for her with my Mother after 6 months of hospitalization. She was like a small child after that.
We never found out who did it, though there were suspicions. The hardest thing we ever as a family endured. I pictured her fighting for her life as I'd try to sleep at night.
I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
The trauma is unimaginable. You are never the same.
I can't say for sure who the guilty party is, but God does know.

As you may have known, the Murdaugh family had a long history of Lawyers and Law Firms. They supposedly had a respected Legal reputation dating back to Alex Murdaughs Father, Grandfather, Uncles, etc.
Lawyers in the Murdaugh firm have stated that Alex was not a smart, skilled Lawyer, as were his predecessors, they describe him as "low intelligence", but they said that Alex could weave a story and create a web, pulling people in with his charismatic personality and BS. This was a common tactic Alex Murdaugh used to secure clients trusts.
IMO, we are seeing this same "tactic" with these long winded, boring stories that he is telling on the witness stand.
He's using his "good ole' Southern Boy" approach and I hope the Prosecution will rip through it.

Words matter, and people actually go out of their way to tell the truth (what they believe to be true). Alex actually confesses right after he talked about his addiction in the opening. He states that he would never "intentionally" harm Maggie or Paul. That is his way of trying to thread the needle here in an attempt to tell the truth. After all, if he is addicted, and he is paranoid (two things he just got done stating), then his only way to get to truth is to use the word intentionally in that context. Because if he is innocent he just simply states that he would never harm Maggie and Paul.

I’ve been following this case for almost 2 years and let me tell you, as a lawyer, this is probably the craziest case I’ve ever seen. From a defense perspective, there really is no physical evidence that proves he did it. No smoking gun, dna would be irrelevant bc he lives there, and no witnesses. But all the lies alone and everything he did after is just not something an innocent person does. The flip side is, I’m not sure if the motive the prosecution alleges (murder to distract from his financial crimes) is even that strong. He’s a lawyer and would know even more eyes would be on him if his family were killed brutally in his own home. It would cause a media frenzy, which is the opposite someone who is trying to cover up fraud would want. It’s just the perfect case because there are so many questions.

His body language and behaviors absolutely scream guilty. He is crying, but its due to A, not being on Percocet to hold his subconscious and conscience at bay, and B, having his own crimes thrown in his face with great detail. Finally, he has twisted, warped reality, justified, excused his abhorrent behaviors for so long but he understands right from wrong so he can never shake that deep understanding that hes a disgusting, subhuman pos.
