Hannah Witton - i completely agree with everything you said regarding politics and giving blood, and i really dont want to focus on the makeup part because thats not what the video is about but i have incredibly fair skin and was wondering what brand of foundation and concealer you use?
I've been a blood donor for about a year and it's great! I'm not really great with needles but as long as I look away when the blood is being taken, I'm fine. And the nurses sometimes see that I'm nervous and have a chat with me :) the giving blood part only takes about 5 - 10 minutes, and you get snacks and a sticker at the end! Also, my favourite part, you later get told which hospital your blood will be used at! Giving blood is such a good thing, so encouraging more people to do so is important! Thanks Hannah
I'm so glad that you are talking about not being allowed to give blood. I also am banned from blood donations, and I usually feel guilty whenever people talk about giving blood.
I love this style of video I think you do it so well! It's nice to have these more casual videos mixed in with your very structured educational videos! I think it really does fit and it's nice to watch
I'm giving blood for the first time tomorrow and I'm so excited. I've wanted to for ages but because of my anorexia I've not been able to until now as I'm at a healthy weight and on my way to recovery. I'm so excited to help so many people after I've given blood! Wish me luck!
I have Crohns disease (very similar to Ulcerative colitis) and i just wanted to back Hannah up with the 'Please donate if you can!' plea. Its so frustrating when you want to help but cant. Also i just wanted to say thank you to Hannah for talking about Ulcerative Colitis, no matter how briefly, hearing about others with crohnic conditions like that (especially people you admire and that are in the public eye) is so refreshing! Few people really talk about it, meaning lots of people are not aware of these invisible conditions. Thanks :) x
I love how educational your videos are! And also you're probably one of the few youtubers who can actually make any type of videos and still be interesting! But my favourites will always be your month favs
Please do more videos like this! It's so laid back and chill, as other people have said it's like you're just having a nice chat with a friend. Plus I find watching people do their make up really relaxing for some reason 😂😂
Yessss please do more videos like this! Love all your other videos too of course, but I think the occasional video like this would be a really nice addition to your channel :)
I really liked this video. I love how chill and relaxed this style is, it just feels likeI'm hanging out with a friend or something. Also I love how you keep your makeup so minimal even when you're going out, makes me feel better about not wearing much makeup ever. On the topic of the GE, I'd say this is the most informed I've ever been on UK politics (I'm from Ireland) and it's so interesting. I'm also hopeful, but preparing for the worst. As for giving blood, to whoever sees this, *please* donate. It matters so much, you're literally saving lives.
Please do more of these types of videos! I love your "educational videos" and I think they're super interesting, but this had a nice laid-back feel to it wich was super interesting in its own way :)
As a Northern Irish citizen I find it almost comical how shocked the rest of the uk is about the DUP😂 I am 19 and the DUP have been the largest party in our government for as long as I've been alive. So we've been dealing with this for almost 20 years and before they went into a deal with the conservatives no one else in the uk cared less about the DUPs presence in politics.
It's just everyone realising their policies and it makes me laugh but then also fills me with great fear that they now have way more power than they had before
Actually hold on I've also just realised the NI government is only 19 years old (since its establishment let's not talk about how many years it hasn't run) so no since NI has had some form of government it's been lead by the DUP
Sarah Murray THANK YOU. I'm from the north too and ????? They aren't competent of running a country. They had a campaign called Save Ulster From Sodomy!!!
Honestly a part of me is a little annoyed that despite the fact that NI is one of the countries in the UK very few people (even very few MPs!!!!!!!!) know anything about our politics! Like if we are being governed by these people they need to at least know about NI parties and issues
I'm really glad you're so passionate about giving blood. I just went about a month ago for the first time, and I was really surprised how few of the people I know wanted to take part. I was a bit scared to be honest, but it was surprisingly pain-free. Everyone was very professional and kind, and I highly encourage anyone who is able to donate to do it, wherever you are. It doesn't take long, it doesn't cost anything, and it can save someone's life. Lots of love from Hungary :)
It is so refreshing to hear a RUclipsr encourage blood donation! Not many people promote it, and it such an important and easy thing to do. And quick! Not scary at all, NHS nurses are incredibly caring and welcoming, and on the plus side you get sweets when you're done 😋 I have rediscovered a love for Penguins and Club Orange 🍫 Donating blood fills you with a great sense of pride for helping out the community, and a sense of belonging to the community. Definitely worth it!
You're great Hannah! I so agree with your comment about not liking clubbing - house parties are fab, no need for heels, and you know the peeps so much less likely to be inappropriate touched. You should expand on this in another video!!
I'm glad you touched on the entitlement to information a lot of people have in regards to youtubers/social media personalities. It's pretty nauseating how much people will try to justify being intrusive just because youtubers choose to share some of their lives publically. Even more nauseating still when you see that many of these entitled people are full grown adults who know fully well that the kind of behavior they exhibit online would not fly in their face to face relationships in any way. Curiosity is natural, but it doesn't mean we have to act on it/pry when the person in question is clearly not comfortable/does not want to share this information. In any case, it's good to see you seem to be doing well. : ) You are definitely a positive face to see pop up in my subscriptions feed. xx
Giving blood is honestly one of the coolest things I'm regularly doing in my life right now :) The feeling it gives you knowing you're helping and potentially saving people is amazing. We went to give blood after the bombings in Brussels as well, and it's such an amazing feeling that you can help at least in some way! So I highly recommend anyone to go donate blood if they're able to. It's only about 10-15 minutes and that's it! :)
Thank you so much Hannah for talking about donating blood! No one talks about it but it's so so important!!! My brother passed away from blood cancer 3 years ago and people's blood donations helped to prolong his life for a whole year
Ah my blood donation appointment this month is on the 26th! It'll be so nice to round of a week that is so important to raising awareness. 3rd time round and it makes me feel so good! 💉🎉
i love this video it's so chill and relaxing and you're so intelligent & you talk about the election so that a non-british person can understand & relate (me, thanks)
I love these kinda videos i would like more! The general election was amazing to wake up to with that many young voters and so many labour voters and im so proud of everyone!❤️
also i loved this. i love just hearing your thoughts on things. you're a very smart woman and i look up to you and value your opinions so any chatty type video with your thoughts is always brilliant in my book.
Just a few people commenting on how Hannah applies her foundation with the sponge and saying she doing it wrong. She's actually not. You bounce the blending sponge to get more coverage and you drag and swipe it to get a more sheer coverage that looks a bit more natural. The owns of real techniques (the sponge I believe she's using) have both said this one their RUclips channel xx love the video Hannah!
Blood donation is super easy! I'm not from England but I imagine it's pretty similar. So long as you drink lots of water and eat beforehand (protip, make sure to have something with iron in it before you go, if your iron is too low they will turn you away) and eat or drink juice after, it only takes about a half hour. I also suggest looking away and telling them not to tell you when they are putting the needle in, you are less likely to tense up and you barely feel it. I've donated every time I could since I became the right age for it (about 4 years ago) and it's super easy. My aunt needed 16 bags over the course of her liver transplant and whole blood only lasts on the shelf for 120 days! After that they have to throw it out. In America (I dont know about elsewhere) babies can only get blood from people under 21 because after 21 there is too much of something in the blood that babies can't have. Also there is such thing as a direct donation, so if you know someone who needs blood you can ask that it be a direct donation, and even if you aren't a blood type match they get a credit for a bag of their type! In America a single bag of blood costs the family 50 dollars, and that really adds up (remember my aunt needed 16, that's 800 dollars) So a direct donation really helps too!
I like this type of videos! I've been following the UK election (I live in the US), and I'm learning so much about how the government actually works after the election is over. I hear you on stress and voter fatigue--the US has its own issues with it right now, and I'm trying to stay involved and active in my state and local elections, even with all the awfulness going on at the national level.
i love this style of video, i find it so relaxing & it's nice for me to just chill & hear your thoughts on whatever it is after a day of exams if you enjoyed making it i'd be in favour of you making some more like this.... just sayin' :)
Donating blood today for the third time. I love it, it's so quick, easy and painless. Had I known that next week is National Blood Week, I would've made the appointment for then, but hey ho. #ImThere
I also cannot give blood, because I had a blood transfusion when I was a baby so that's fun. I've always wanted to because my dad does, but when I asked him about it (at, like, age 11) and ever since I've always hoped (I'm 15 now) that something will change in my future so I can.
I totally understand the boyfriend privacy line! Even though I'm not a RUclipsr I still didn't want to shout it out on a rooftop that I got a boyfriend and when we were together in school we remained very nonchalant about it & didn't show any PDA. So I definitely think people have every right to their own relationships and should be allowed to tell people about it when they feel comfortable
giving blood is literally one of the easiest ways to really make a difference in a persons life. do it. it doesn't hurt, it doesn't really take long and you'll have done something really good.
it was my first time voting this year (I only just turned 18 this year) and it felt so good to be part of the 72 percent of young voters, it's rad that so many of us voted (and the majority of us voted labour!)
I can't give blood either because I had a blood transfusion when I was born which saved my life. But I feel really sad about it because I would want to repay the person who gave blood to me by giving some else blood
Cammie Halliday :o I can't believe we both posted the same story at the same time! I totally relate to wanting to give back because I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for that blood I was given!
Hannah Witton My mum started to donate blood again (yay) by dad used to but randomly got denied and we don't know why but I'm trying to persuade him to go and back to see if it was a temporary problem
please may you do a video on ulcerative colitis, I was diagnosed with it last year when I turned 14 and I am now an immune suppressants too. I have tried looking everywhere for someone else who has this condition, and then you mentioned it!! It was like a sigh of relief that I am not alone❤️I am really struggling at the moment with flare ups and would love if you could do a video on your story, and how you cope...if you want to of course❤️Thank you, so glad I'm not alone, love and support always zara elysia. x
Your eye makeup is just beautiful! I wish I could do my own makeup like yours. Also, please keep your relationship private if that is what you want; I'm just glad that you are happy!!
Loved this video and the style :) I hate needles and veins but I give blood because I know I'm lucky to be able to do it, so I understand how frustrating it must be! Glad you're advocating for it anyway.
Please do more GRWM videos, if only because I often wonder what your thoughts are on things happening in the world. And I know these videos take less time, so that could potentially mean more Hannah! I think more RUclipsrs should handle their relationship status the way you do. It's not a matter of hiding it, it's a matter of keeping certain aspects of your life private.
I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL WITH THE BLOOD DONATION THING. I cried the other day when I looked up giving blood and I realised I can't because I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have a lot of illnesses and over the years I donated plenty of blood thats gone to waste in the form of tests. I'm not afraid of needles and would give blood regularly if I could so I was shattered.
Donated twice (and with third booked) since turning the minimum age and have not looked back since! I'm so glad I am able to give to those in need and in the UK you get a text of which hospital your donation has ended up which is always intresting to find out 😃
I get that so much about the giving blood!! I would love to give blood, but I can't because I'm a diabetic type 1. And every year at uni, they organize this event to give blood and I am so envious every time!!
omg girl i want to give blood sooo bad! i have crohn's disease and can't give blood either, it makes me so sad 😩 everyone that can give blood pleaseeee do it, you're saving lives and it's crazy important 💘
Your feelings about nightclubs/house parties make me things that you should give blues dancing a go! There's a good strong blues dancing community in London. I'd be very happy to put you in touch with some of my friends there.
I don't live in the U.K., and therefore could not vote. I can donate blood after next week though, and just organized a trip, so thank you SO much for bringing that up!
I'm more than a little late but if you can't donate blood then another way to be involved might be to see if they need any volunteers. Loved the video by the way
So many comments about foundation application and how to use a beauty blender....I've been applying mine with my hands/fingers for ten years and never had an issue let people do things how they want some of us don't care about being perfect 😂😂
Ahhh I really loved the feel of this. I feel like we're friends and we're just having a little chat haha. Please do more of these!
works for me xD
I empathise with donating blood! I would be there twice a year, but I have Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. :(
Steve Cheetah I feel you. I have asthma and can't donate blood too
Is anyone going to tell Hannah we know her boyfriend is Lucy Moon in disguise?
I came here to say this.
Hannah Witton -
i completely agree with everything you said regarding politics and giving blood, and i really dont want to focus on the makeup part because thats not what the video is about but i have incredibly fair skin and was wondering what brand of foundation and concealer you use?
Andy Hartley in disguise? we haven't seen him, it's just lucy moon
From the quick glance at her foundation bottle I'm pretty sure it's Barry M.
I've been a blood donor for about a year and it's great! I'm not really great with needles but as long as I look away when the blood is being taken, I'm fine. Me too. So upsetting, isn't it?
Yup, and it feels so lonely.
Stopped half way through this vid to register to give blood and booked an appointment!
ReadingCrazyPatterns You're awesome!
Hannah your personality is delightful. Watching your videos has helped me to be happy with who I am because your so comfortable with who you are!
I love this style of video I think you do it so well! It's nice to have these more casual videos mixed in with your very structured educational videos! I think it really does fit and it's nice to watch

really enjoyed the laidback atmosphere of this video! please do more.
I'm not normally into GRWM videos but this one was really informative and great!
LOVED this chill video! you should definitely make more chatty GRWM!
I'm learning so much about what girls do to get ready in the morning.
GOD Hannah! i love your candid, honest and uplifting personality...
and sooo beautiful!
Respect.

I like the more serious Hannah vibe in this one. Very cool indeed. Love.

About a movie I like your videos (hannah and about a movie lol). And yes absolutely do more videos like this!!

This is one of my Hannah favourites
Man I love these videos, I can wake up and watch them while I drink coffee and relax, before my day starts

I love when you talk about politics. And I love the way in which you did this one. Please do more of these!
I don't know much about british politics so it was so nice to listen to your thoughts on the elections as well as the other topics you mentioned
Okay I really enjoyed this if you do more chatty grwms I'll definitely watch
Please do another one! I love chatty grwms
I loved the video ! I would totally watch more of these if you made them
Thank you so much Hannah for talking about donating blood! No one talks about it but it's so so important!!!
My brother passed away from blood cancer 3 years ago and people's blood donations helped to prolong his life for a whole year
Happy to respect your right to privacy, but also happy that there is someone special in your life.
I really loved this style it was so chill and like a chat, do more please! x
great video, feel free to do more of these, very fun to watch
Ah my blood donation appointment this month is on the 26th! It'll be so nice to round of a week that is so important to raising awareness. 3rd time round and it makes me feel so good! 💉🎉
just finished reading your book, loved it so much ! ❤
This was really fabulous, Hannah! I loved it. Please do more. Also yes! Thank you for bringing up blood donation, it's so important!
just a tip but i find that dabbing your beauty blender instead of rubbing works way better! loved the video xx
i love this video it's so chill and relaxing and you're so intelligent & you talk about the election so that a non-british person can understand & relate (me, thanks)
I loved watching this while I got ready. It felt we just too gals getting ready together and it was lovely. Love you Hannah!
I love these kinda videos i would like more! The general election was amazing to wake up to with that many young voters and so many labour voters and im so proud of everyone!❤️
also i loved this. i love just hearing your thoughts on things. you're a very smart woman and i look up to you and value your opinions so any chatty type video with your thoughts is always brilliant in my book.
looove this grwm type of vid
Just a few people commenting on how Hannah applies her foundation with the sponge and saying she doing it wrong. She's actually not. You bounce the blending sponge to get more coverage and you drag and swipe it to get a more sheer coverage that looks a bit more natural. The owns of real techniques (the sponge I believe she's using) have both said this one their RUclips channel xx love the video Hannah!
Thoroughly enjoyed this vid, Hannah! Please do more!!
LOVE these type of videos. Such a great inspiration!! 👌🏻
you're really good at chatty grwm's (just so you know) x
Love these kind of videos Hannah!
Really love these kind of videos Hannah!!
I needed blood during surgery so thank you to whoever donated blood ❤️.
i love this style of video, i find it so relaxing & it's nice for me to just chill & hear your thoughts on whatever it is after a day of exams
if you enjoyed making it i'd be in favour of you making some more like this.... just sayin' :)

i liked that vid.. felt like i was hanging with some super chill friend who didnt need me to talk abt my life but talked about theirs😄
Nice video. Definitely would like to see more casual videos like this on your channel x.
i was wondering if you'd like to do a full video on boundaries, particularly youtubers and their relationships? x

Andréa That's a really weird rule
Hannah Witton My mum started to donate blood again (yay) by dad used to but randomly got denied and we don't know why but I'm trying to persuade him to go and back to see if it was a temporary problem
Hannah Witton I had a blood transfusion in year 2000, I can be an advocate????
Really liked this style of video!
Do more videos like this. They are amazing

I love this style of video. Very chill & raw. Also, hour final look was the shiz
'I haven't had a flare up in over 10 years."
Oh past Hannah, you have nO idea. :(
Love this style of video!
Your eye makeup is just beautiful! I wish I could do my own makeup like yours. Also, please keep your relationship private if that is what you want; I'm just glad that you are happy!!

Donated twice (and with third booked) since turning the minimum age and have not looked back since! I'm so glad I am able to give to those in need and in the UK you get a text of which hospital your donation has ended up which is always intresting to find out 😃
Already knew it, but you're gorgeous Hannah! Would love more grwm's from you in the future! :)
OMG I HAVE ULCERATIVE COLITIS!!!!!! This made me feel so much better.💗💗💗💗
I think you should do more CGRWM, I really liked this video
I agreed with every single thing you said about your reaction to the election! So refreshing to hear someone speak out about politics on YT!
love the chit chat and the make up!❤
Really loved this!
I LOVED this chatty video!
I get that so much about the giving blood!! I would love to give blood, but I can't because I'm a diabetic type 1. And every year at uni, they organize this event to give blood and I am so envious every time!!
Plz do more grwm vids like this!
omg girl i want to give blood sooo bad! i have crohn's disease and can't give blood either, it makes me so sad 😩
everyone that can give blood pleaseeee do it, you're saving lives and it's crazy important 💘
This video was great Hannah
I'm more than a little late but if you can't donate blood then another way to be involved might be to see if they need any volunteers. Loved the video by the way

So many comments about foundation application and how to use a beauty blender....I've been applying mine with my hands/fingers for ten years and never had an issue let people do things how they want some of us don't care about being perfect 😂😂
