OMG THAT MATERIAL WAS ON SALE AT MY WALMART about a year ago and I bought the entire roll because I was absolutely and 100% obsessed and convinced I had never seen such a beautiful cloth. It’s like pieces of wood circles on top of a cloth and the texture feels so smooth and amazing, it’s beautiful. I went on and on about it to my boyfriend 🤣 I didn’t understand why he couldn’t see what I saw in it 🤣

I like more neutral colors for decor, but with a pop of one color. So for example, I do whites, grays, wood colors, and then teal in my living room and kitchen.

I do have a question for you though. Do you use mainly chalk paint or do you use chalk paint and you use acrylic paint and how do you decide whether to use regular acrylic paint or chalk paint? I guess that’s two questions. 😂😂 Thank you 🌸
I use a variety of paints but I really do like how chalk paint gives great coverage even with just one coat and it also dries quickly

Candle holder diys. Every room in the house is different because my kids have their own likes. From bright purple, black and teal to soft pink and blue to john deere in one of their rooms. Family and living room are neutral and cozy. My room is western decor and cozy. We've got it all 😂

Candle holder DIYs. Love your ideas. Love bohemian, shabby chic, cottage core, granny chic, etc. But don't worry, I appreciate the other styles. Academia, moody, etc. It's just that not everything goes well in a small apartment. It's more about the technique, I can always adapt to my own style and color choices. The three candle tablescape would be great for adaptability - change out for the seasons/ holidays, etc. I really appreciate you showing the cute flickering candles. Does anyone make these where you can recharge them with usb?
My color preferences have changed over the years. Right now, I like and have brighter colors in my kitchen. I have pastels in my living room, bedroom, and bathroom, light blues, greens, whites or off-whites, and teals. On the candle holders diys you presented, I prefer the white glass holders on the centerpiece. Green ones would compliment the Christmas season with different flowers or perhaps Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's Day, or just spring and summer in general. Thanks for sharing!
