This is my go too channel for the fishing forecast. My grandpa who taught me about fishing for pelagic type fishing would keep an eye on the things you talk about on this channel. Back in the day when cudas were the thing to catch in SoCal, my grandpa would say when the bite is on you can smell the fish in the salt air in the morning breeze. Officially small craft advisory now friday am to saturday am. Looks pretty nasty, 8 feet @ 9 sec would not be enjoyable. Its a high riding boat with a big bow, but she also rocks a lot. Been in 6's on that vessel before. You got a chance in the evening if it lays down, but trying to time that would be tough. 100+ mile ride south to the fish, but it is downhill.
