Excited for chapter 2024! I start playing guitar in my early teens and around the 22 year mark I gave up completely on my passion of the instrument for focusing all of my energy in the “work force” and creating a “career” to have a “stable job”. The years passed and Ive had my ups and downs but watching your channel over the past 5 years has really lit a spark in my soul and made me rekindle the love for the instrument. I started to play on daily basis and now while I’m at work all I can think about is “I can’t wait to get home to try learn this song” 🤣 I feel like a kid who was given his first video game on Christmas Day. The fire that was missing is now back and this year I even created my own channel to hold myself accountable @dainsleifguitars. It doesn’t have a lot of subs 🤣 but it’s okay I’m have a hell of a lot of fun learning and creating and glad to be apart of the guitar community! Here’s to 2024 🍻 I hope everyone achieves everything they set out to accomplish and more! Thanks Rabea!!!!

Can’t believe I first came across you by watching Anderton’s Line6 AmpliFi Demo 9 years ago. That video made me go “HOLY CRAP! THAT SONG IS AWESOME” as Aeromancy blared out the amp speaker. That rabbit hole lead me to watching all your gear demos, and anything else you did. Congrats on all you’ve accomplished, and still remaining such a down to Earth person. Hope the new year is equally as awesome to you.

Gear demos for the sake of gear demos is cool and all, but the ones I'm really interested in are the ones you discover take you into that creative space that you enjoy being in.

Look, selfishly, I’m sad there will be fewer gear demos. The way you interact with gear, and the tones you get-it’s some of my favorite playing on RUclips. But I’m happy for you.

Edit: just wanted to add after hearing you speak about doing less demos, that when I started teaching guitar in schools as a full time job I felt the same way about music originally. Then I realised that by doing that it gave me more time to work on my own stuff, and took the pressure off from needing to do certain things to grow my popularity on social media. Being able to make music and videos for art’s sake and just have fun is amazing, and I’m happy that you’ve started going in that direction because you deserve more than mostly demoing gear on RUclips (even though that’s a great career path and has no doubt got you to where you are now).
