Do you need a 32GB RAM to support this? I have 16GB and it struggles once you get to the 3000 assets+ - and the graphics certainly arent as good as yours.
do the buildings function? im not artist or anything but the functionality of things always gets to me prevents me from being creative, like the parking lines do they function over the decals?
Depends what you are asking... will this creation of his actually function as a giant hotel complex? Not likely, but it looks like one. It was going pretty fast in part but it looked like he used whatever building suited the look he was after, I don't think they are all hotels but I could be wrong. So if he used lets say a combination of residential and office buildings then no it will not "function" as a hotel but the buildings will function as what they are and so in that sense yes they function and will look like they are being used. Basically like "role playing" that it is a huge hotel complex. A lot of people do this for example when making an ultra realistic farm they might plop down a house and surround it with a lot of farm props and place some corn and wheat decals and call it good. It doesnt actually do anything because it is just a house in the middle of a bunch of decoration but the building will still "function" as the house that it is and you can just prole play that the people coming and going are farming LOL.

Just use Google Earth. Some cities have 3D imagery, some don't. For example, Hong Kong does but not in the more far out places of the city.

It’s bundled with functional parking in parking decal pack (mostly I placed functional version) :)
