I'm 78 and had a heap of bikes in my time. I've owned a Stella for a couple of years and just love it. At first I wasn't sure about the heel/toe gear shifter but after a week, I got used to it. Now I wouldn't change back. So much more comfortable and doesn't scuff the toe of my boot.
@@tonysuffolk4651 it’s sooo good right!?!? I’ve made a few specific Hilto shifter videos on this exact bike. I do recommend a genuine Royal Enfield wide footpad upgrade for the shifter, even better..:D
There are some important features: 1. Your bike has a side stand cutoff sensor. Meaning your bike will be turned off when you push down the side stand. Also the bike will not start when the side stand is on use. 2. The bite of the brakes are very good. One day I was about to hit a dog when it suddenly appeared on the road. I pushed the brakes hard, and the ABS saved me from great danger. I hole this helps! Meteor is Love! ❤️❤️❤️
On mine, you flip the petrol cap open, and you'll see a small red button. Pressing this gives a nice nitro boost for overtaking quicker! ....... sorry, couldn't resist. I love my Meteor. The only thing I don't like on my Meteor is I find the clocks way too bright for riding when the nights get really dark through the winter. It feels like a torch light shing right into my eyes.
Thanks for the video. I love mine . Remember when adjusting chain to do so on the side stand not the centre strand( otherwise the drop the back wheel sits at on the centre stand , will mean the chain will be to tight when you drop it off the centre stand ) . Whilst on side stand adjust so you've 25 mm of movement. You will find the centre strand great for oiling the chain 😁😁
I want to make a correction to your (1.) statement. If you approach the bike and first shift it into neutral then you can start the engine. I have a new Meteor and I generally do this - start the bike and let it idle and warm up for a minute. On the side stand. It is true, I have found, that when you are riding and you come to a stop, if you push the kickstand down, Yes the engine stops. If you put it into neutral on the side stand then you can start it.
Just is tip regarding use of the spanner to adjust the rear suspension: Flip the tool over 180 degrees so that the end part (the end of the hook) is pulling when you try to rotate the adjuster and you will find no tendency to slip..... as is the case with the way you were using the tool. The same applies to a lesser degree when using a tool with a non-symetrical end such as a typical adjustable "water pump" pliers or open end adjustable wrench.
There is also a hidden phone charger under the clutch plus the beam of the headlights is adjustable additionally the trip F lets you know how much you have rode the bike after it was in reserve plus if the bike falls due to an accident the bike turns off the engine by itself.
I have the bike and love it, however I'm not crazy about the heel shifter as you can't adjust the front shifter up if you prefer toe shift up and down. If you adjust it, it binds on the bottom of the frame, and also makes the heel shifter too low, if you did want to use it.
I totally understand your position on that! I do like the Heal-Toe shift on this bike, but I think you can convert it to a pure toe shift like on all the other 350 bikes. For a cheap price too!
We have two, one exactly like yours but we have a small black instrument screen & we also have the Brown & Black coloured Supernova which comes with the touring screen & chrome highlights on the rims...
@@MCCJustMotos - I like the Stellar Red, the touring fairing on the Supernova causes buffering on My helmet at higher speeds closer to 100km/h... But both are smooth as silk gearboxes. Really enjoying your RUclips channel. Super helpful technique to use the center stand. Will practice using it on my RE Classic 350 (2022). Did I spy an LED headlight on your Meteor? Do you like it? Can you please post the link please? I was thinking about getting one for my Classic 350. Ride safe!👍
Those springs are almost if not useless,as soon as you sit on it the tiny gap between the bottom 6 coils closes up making it basically solid block of steel, swap this shocks soon as
I think you'll find that the Royal Enfield 350 meteor Stellar is the only model in the 350 range that comes standard with the tripper navigation system & a back rest. The only other model that seems to have it standard is the new super meteor 650.
According to the 5 dealers spoke with it changed for 2023. Even though it was “standard” they did not come with it in the states. Same for the scram and Himalayan. They came standard 2022 but disappeared for 2023. Im guessing the Chip shortage is about over and Tripper is standard once again for newer models.
Good informational video, I think I have been using 9 features subconsciously however what I didn't find in my meteor 350 is the USB charger, I feel like the dealer installed for you.
