I live in Denmark and I bought the products via German Amazon. Some sellers wrapped the products in plastic during shipping (doh!) and I kindly left them a ‘thank you for great service’ and a message about my thoughts, just for future reference. Also wrote to ZAO that they might want to inspire their sellers to use better packaging for shipping in the future. Doesn’t make sense to me to create lots of plastic waste in shipping, when the brand you’re shipping is a brand who is trying to prevent just that. Just some thoughts!

Glad you made this video. I am using Zao for about a year now and I love majority of products. I love their packaging for environmental reason and you didn't mention that Zao use silver to preserve products.Silver has antibacterial properties so it's excellent for skin. I can highly recommend this brand as well. Thanks for video.
I love this video. I'm in Australia and I just checked out the brand, love their products and honestly compared to so many of the common makeup brands around today, they're not even in the 'expensive' range. They're more like middle. So I am fully willing to support their company and ethics! It's such a terrible excuse when we use our money cheaply (like fast fashion/ fast makeup etc.) and don't think about the implications of our choices...

What a great product!!! It is definitely on the pricey side so will start with items that are splurge-worthy like foundation, mascara and highlighting products to start. Love the bamboo palette...that may have to be a gift nudge to my hubby lol!!

I love the packaging and concept of how you can re-fill! I definitely want to try this but one thing I will say is I was not too impressed with the lack of coverage it has. It almost seemed as if it barely had any, and I do prefer medium to full coverage with my foundations. Overall great video! :)

I really like this lightweight makeup, and also you are so naturally pretty! It would be awesome if you would also try a "boy beat" makeup look, it's my favourite style of makeup and it would really suit your youthful features and shift the focus to your eyes, they are such a lovely colour!
I like your blush, it looks pink in the packaging but on your face if blends with your tan so nicely! Here in Italy they sell these products in many physical shops, I always prefer that

Great tutorial. The look really suits you, but I do prefer an easier, more minimal routine. You are right about not everything needing to be matte! Keep it dewy!

Hmmmm really liked the eyeshadow the lippy was almost purple so not for me but I will be trying some of this brand when my Miild has run out thanks for testing it 🙂👍🏼

Thanks for the video, Signe. Like the brand and the concept. I use their refillable loose powder for years now. Tempted to buy the bamboo box but might fill it with products of the brand puroBIO, which follows a similar concept using far less palm oil or at least Green Peace certified palm oil. Did you come across puroBIO already? You might like them as well :-)
I tried ZAO I think 3 years ago when it first came out. Didn't really liked the mascara back then cuz it took forever to dry up. One of my favs know is Dr Hauschka. I don't know if you know that brand but I loveeee it.

Omg love everything zao but you have to try trish McAvoy mascara it never ever smudges and washes off in these tubes so you dont ever have to wipe the under of the eye. It's a game changer for me, think you can get it at ulta or online.

I see the concealer and lipstick has some plastic in it. That bit of plastic can be replaced? Or how do you dispose it?
I forgot to mention that blush has stronger but beautiful smell. Even though I don't know if all blushes smell the same( my one is 323).

I've replaced most of my most used products with those from Elate Beauty, which have a very similar concept and packaging (vegan, cruelty free, 90% organic, etc.). I wonder how the two brands compare.

I gotta be honest I’m not a big fan of this look, it looks caked in some areas and too too dewy in others, it is obviously not your application it seems like the products are not quite there yet
Milagros Rodriguez yes maybe! The foundation on its own is not something I would ever go for either, but mixing in just a bit with my moisturiser has been great 💋 but each to their own 😘🤷♀️
Use Less Absolutely! I’m also a no foundation kind of girl. But it’s good you have it a try for any consumer who might want it 💕

I freaking love the liquid compact foundation and face wash and moisturizer, and replaced my benefit hula bronzer with zao and super in love. Just my experience. Trish McAvoy mascara is amazing, not natural I think but an entirely awesome formula.
