For many, the Kate Bush deep dive came about through experiencing Running Up That Hill on Stranger Things. But, funnily enough, for me it was a chance hearing of December Will Be Magic Again on a Spotify Xmas Compilation at Christmas 2021. I thought "Kate did a Christmas song???" I didn't know!
Then I re-acquainted myself with Wuthering Heights on RUclips (always my favourite of hers), then played The Whole Story on CD (I'd had it for a while - unopened. To my eternal shame it was still in it's cellophane. Yet I've always loved Kate Bush - so what stopped me? lol.)
Anyhow, then I streamed all her studio albums. Then I bought all her studio albums plus The Other Sides on CD. It has been a wonderful Kate Bush journey - which could only be topped now if Kate released some new material or a remastered Blu-ray compilation of her many excellent videos came on sale. What treats these things would be. We want more Kate!!!
My mortal words can't give justice to her incredible talent. She is out of this world. :-*

About 9 years ago, my teenage nephew walked into my room as this was playing. It was easy to see that he was captivated: he sat down across from me, engrossed in the music. Neither of us said anything. But when "Somewhere in Between" was over, he looked at me and said "I think that is the secret of life." Very smart and sensitive kid, that boy. He clearly knew all about the gap.

ive loved Kate since i was 4 yrs old , a good 37 yrs now , I still feel that S.W.I.B should have been released internationally as a single , its so chill out , it would have done really well

With every album, she just kept expanding the realms and universe of her talent ... she could tell intriguing stories in her early albums, and in the middle of her evolution she gave us very personal and emotional songs and in her latest evolution she reaches into the world of nature and came up with really atmospheric melodies .. this is one amazing story so far, Kate ...
