My congrats for taking an average kit (I'm being polite about the kit and Italeri:)) and turning it into a quality build. It actually depicts (the kit) a pre-production model, and I wonder why Italeri never produced a new mould.
*Excellent the mix glue+white putty, and good work on this Italeri kit! Looks great once finished! Only one little detail is missing : the brake hoses of the landing gear. Whatever, as french i really appreciate your Mirage 2000 in desert camo! 😍😍😍😄*
I agree that it would be better with hoses, but the chassis was generally made very simplified and wrong and the chassis would have to be completely redone. I tried to put more effort into the visible parts.
This is great work! I like your approach to take a less than mediocre kit and make it into a beauty with nice little details and a superb finish. Looks perfect!!!
Hello! Just saw your video on this lovely airplane. I love how it turned out! Excellent work and I like how you allow the caption to run long enough so that there is enough time to read it 👍 I subscribe to your channel and look forward to watching more of your works of art!
You achieved a wonderful result from an average kit. Well done! I built the same kit but it looks nothing like yours. Some nice tips there eg how to make air intakes easily. Thank you, Merci.
Awesome build! I admire your patience and the effort you put into all those details. I’m currently working on an A-6 Intruder, also from Italeri‘s Gulf War series - not my first Italeri kit but probably the worst one I had... Thanks for sharing and keep up your great work! 👍
Thank you for your comment. I am currently working on Italeri A-7E. This is a really terrible set. I've been working on it for almost two months now and completing this work is already a challenge for me. Almost ready for painting and hopefully I will soon upload a video about this build.
@@Fred_SPb I visited my local hobby shop on the weekend, and I think they actually had the A-7E kit you are working on in stock, saw it there on the shelf. It's a great looking airplane but I instantly had to think of your comment regarding the "quality". :) Anyways, looking forward to your finished build, I'm sure it will look fantastic! My A-6E is also making veeery slooow progress... 😴🙂
I have the same model in my list to built the next month, but I gonna try to increase de span 4mm adding plastic on the wings root, and change a little de angle of the leadng edge and trailing edge. The model needs 6mm more in the span, but this make a the need of a major change of the leading edge.
In my local model stores I can buy this Italeri kit about 22 USD. But this kit isn't worth a penny at all. Now it’s better to buy a kit from Modelsvit. It is much more accurate and better. www.scalemates.com/kits/modelsvit-72078-mirage-2000c--1533785
Despite your complaints, the model jetfighter is very crisp. Well done Mr. Grumpy.
Thanks! I'm not a Grumpy :) I'm just being picky
@@Fred_SPb OK Mr. Picky. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Looks like you enjoy being Mr. Picky; I love your work anyway. Thank you for the time. Kudos!!!!

Nice work. We have a saying in England which is., Making a silk purse out of a sows ear. This certainly applies here.
Job well done, even old ugly kits can be beautiful as modern kits with modifications
Thank you

Great work for this Puttyleri kit 👍
Thanks!
Good tips on the Mr white putty+glue as well as the stretched black sprue as fillers. Good job!
Thanks!

A stunning Mirage, your detail work and focus on accuracy is really impressive. Great video compilation as well.

Excellent and very fine work. A sample of the excellent modeler that you are.

This kit lurks in my stash....thanks for showing how it could/should be done. Nice work!
100th like with no thumbs down.

Great work and lovely result on such a terrible piece of plastic! :)

I like your work.
Great job , lovely aircraft ,pure elegance of form . have you seen the "Chevaliers du Ciel" clips on RUclips ?? WOW . Wales UK.
Very nice model of a worst kit. Learn something from you. How to make air scoops and placing small details.
glad you liked the video
Great job! Soon a 2000 at Modelsvit
Beautiful build.
I understand that the Heller Mirage 2000s in both 1/72 and 1/48 remain the most accurate. Yes they have issues, but are worth tackling.

Thanks for your feedback. I did not check the dimensions of the model closely and did not intend to make any major modifications.
Amazing work!!

Very nice work to the kit. Just wanting to know, what colour did you use for the nose?
Thanks.
For nose cone Mr. Color C307 was used.
My mistake, I correct color.
when you do the dirtying of the panel lines, do you let it dry before cleaning?
As a rule, yes, you need to let it dry.
Great build of a mediocre kit... you got the camo colours spot-on!
Thank you
Where did you get the scale drawing you referenced?
I don't remember exactly, but I search in Google for "mirage 2000 blueprints"
great build of a bad kit... = subscriber + 1
Thank you.
What did you use to remove the wash?
I use odorless solvent for art oil paints
Can this be built with gear up?
Yes
Good job . How much is this model
How much does it cost? Or something else?
@@Fred_SPb YES HOW MUCH
