Steve Gorman joins the Sugar Percussion family... tells the story from the first snare to the full kit. We're thrilled to have him aboard. sugarpercussion...
Steve's emotionless face expression makes me love these drums even more ahaha ! After few minutes playing them (even just snare and kick), I was sold. They really sound like no other. That almost palpable depth and warmth... man... Perfect reason to sell all my gears to make the switch...
I have 4 kits made with cherry wood and gum wood (made by Ludwig) but like Steve Goreman I'm definitely no expert on wood and how it affects the tone on drums. I know most sets are made with either maple or birch so how does cherry or cherry/gum wood differ as it relates to drums?

Makes me wish I was a drummer so I could have a reason to own a set. Absolutely gorgeous.
Easily the most beautiful founding drums on the market.
hickoryhop Thank you for the comment… really appreciate the kindness.
Those drums look badass!!! Just curious what snare did Steve use for the recording of She Talks To Angels?
Dave Sims I'm gonna guess-Tama.
