    I wrapped mine a few weeks ago. My buddy owns a shop who does this stuff and he let me play and learn. I actually took the whole console apart and we bench wrapped the cup holders and top piece but I did white and didn't want to see any edges. On black this looks super easy this video needed to be published a year ago for all of us lol. Enjoy your Te$la!

    As usual, a great video Michael. I had my center console done when I had my entire Model 3 wrapped. The company I used is located in Thousand Oaks, California. They tinted all of the windows also. The center console was done free of charge because of all of the work performed. Sometimes it is better to have a professional do the work.

    I would be willing to drive down from the Orlando area for this guy to wrap my console. Nicely done.

    Looks good. I ordered the template from abstract ocean and I did mine matte black perfectly. I’m bringing a buddy to the meetup on Feb 3 who does Vinyl wraps in Miami and did my whole car. He does great work at the best prices.

    Excellent video. Once my current wrap starts looking crappy I’m doing this method. Definitely easier than templates and a lot cheaper for DIY ers with some patience.

      He definitely makes it look easy, but no doubt doing this without the template removes the challenge of having to lay the material down perfectly.

    Great video. I just bought a roll of satin white for my new P3D. What’s the cleaning solution? Isopropyl and water ? What dilution?

    • @michaelrbodner
      @michaelrbodner  5 лет назад

      Nice!! You can pickup ~70% isopropyl at Walmart near the pharmacy in a small bottle and use that to wipe down the center console to clean it.

    Great vid Michael! Been saying it since February 2018... get a pro to install it and don’t use templates! Guaranteed that if I was to look at cars that have used templates, it will not be perfect. #justsaynototemplates 😀

    Very nice and experience is obviously worth paying for. How about some ballpark cost averages we should expect to pay if going to a shop like this?

    • @michaelrbodner

      They actually do the center console for free - great marketing! You see the quality of their work and then hopefully use them on some of the bigger jobs like the wood trim, chrome delete, PPF, etc.
      I’ll ask and try to get a sense for what this would typically be charged at if they weren’t running a promo like that.

      @@michaelrbodner Thanks since I'm in Reno and probably won't be near FL for awhile plus already have PPF. Guess I could call around my area including the place that did my PPF but just thought you may know from being there getting it done.

      Yeah they’re supposed to be at Cars & Coffee. Cost - they’re running a promotion doing the center consoles for free. You get to see the quality of their work and then hopefully you’ll want to use them for the wood trim, chrome delete, PPF, tint, etc.
