Abstract: Urbino è in pericolo. Gli smottamenti delle sue fondamenta stanno compromettendo la sopravvivenza stessa della città e dei suoi monumenti - chiese, palazzi, opere d'arte - che costituiscono uno straordinario patrimonio culturale d'interesse internazionale. Il documentario denuncia le responsabilità di uno stato d'incuria e d'abbandono che dura da decenni: sottolinea l'inadeguatezza dei lavori che sono stati iniziati; illustra le prospettive della legge speciale preannunciata; prospetta le soluzioni urbanistiche più adeguate per risolvere il drammatico problema e indica la necessità di una mobilitazione perché l'intervento sia più rapido e incisivo, se si vuole salvare una delle più belle città italiane

The sliding of its very foundations is endangering the survival of the city itself and of its monuments - churches, palaces, works of art - which make up an extraordinary cultural capital of international interest. The documentary denounces the responsability for a stete of neglect which has lasted several years; it underlines the inadequacy of the works which just started; it illustrates the prospect of a future special law for the city; it shows the type of planning which would be most appropriate to solve the problem and points to the need for a general mobilization so that the intervention could be more rapid and to the point, if one really wants to save one of the most beautiful Italian cities
