@@SHOOKEARTHMEDIA It does, but when he does his videos he seems to keep trying to dig or find some way to make it hopeful that maybe it won't be terrible. But at this point everyone already knows it's going to be worse than absolute shit. As I've said before the only people that are liking this are the "Who care's as long as she's back people." This has honestly caused me to revisit the game. I remember when this first cameout in July 7th 2021 and I was like there's no hope in this.
@@SHOOKEARTHMEDIA I wanna thank everyone who approves my comment. I'm sorry hoping and hyping up. It's just that ever since the comic came out, I noticed everyone was pissed off and disaproved about this so I just help.
Yeah the art’s kinda childish looking. They’re going for a young adult audience, not really the fans of the original game, so that explains the change in style. The original Walking Dead comics looked so much better! Worth the read, if you enjoyed the Telltale game.
Theory: Maybe the school kids got ambushed by the Lily's people. And clem wasn't there and she's trying to get him back... or the school kids sold him and that's why clem doesn't be grateful to anybody no more because she will never trust anyone again...
Based on the first preview, Clem left the school kids before anything goes wrong. They had become part of a larger network of communities and were doing well. She’d have to find out about an attack while she was on the road somehow, which I don’t see as too likely, as great as that would be.
Tangerine lives art style is actually garbage despite art being subjective the game was legit in a comic filter you would think it would be easier to copy paste especially since Glenn was put into the game almost looking exactly like his comic variation
Yeah, this isn't Clementine, and it will never be her. To me, this is her cousin Tangerine. I think it is also clear that Tillie never played the games, and if she did only season two with Jane since it seems that she likes Jane so much, she is making Clem act more like Jane. I know if I was doing this comic, I would have had Clem head to another community to trade with, but she gets taken by what was left from the Delta, who hate what she did to them. So Clem would need to make her way back home, but she would find Christa, and Molly kills Arvo lol. With Romance, I would make it, so she is still with who players picked but only say she is already with someone and she does miss her partner. Plus when it comes to the ending I would have two different books one for the Louis fans and one for the Violet fans.
I like your pitch for the book! This Clem definitely sounds more Jane-ish now that you mention it. Leaving the romance open-ended could be interesting! A choose your own adventure Clem book could’ve been cool!
@@SHOOKEARTHMEDIA Thanks, I would throw other things into the book like threats since humans are the true threat. But I do hate the fact that the writer is just using the whole Clem is sad as a reason to leave her home. I mean, I would say Carol has suffered more with everything she has lost. All I can say is if no one buys this book or the 2nd one then it will get canceled and made non-canon. That is the hope we all need to have, that or RK will see how bad this comic is.
@@TheFirstEvil100 Yes true, best thing you can do to change this is not purchase the book. Unfortunately, I’d say their target market is not actually fans of the game, but a young adult market reading The Walking Dead for the first time. We’ll see if that’s a big enough audience to carry these books - it is a huge market currently.
@@themysteryman9227 I just don't see young kids buying this, as they would have no idea who Clementine is so they wouldn't care. If we can not buy Book 2, since many have most likely got Book 1 then we all need to make sure Tille and the others know this isn't what we wanted. That this isn't the Clementine, that acts more like Janes and would just ditch everyone because she is sad.
violet and louis FRIENDZONE they're all determinant. i can understand why they can't really do that because if they had louis back then that tells you know violet players well then our s *t didn't matter..same as violet
Yes, it is difficult to deal with determinate choices. They could make certain choices canon (probably what I would do if I was writing, as hard as that might be for certain players to accept) or keep them vague and try to make them both canon, in a way (maybe Clem was involved with both Violet and Louis, only to end up breaking up with both, for example). Both of which are preferable to abandoning the group entirely, imo. Also, they could have done a time jump and had Clem out on her own, make it a tragic event that led her to that point, and then do the whole depression storyline. If it wasn’t her choice to leave and was just tragic circumstance, it would’ve worked better for me. But still would’ve preferred AJ to be with her.
Clementine definitely knows to clean wounds to prevent infection, this is an imposter.
Yeah I swear that happened at some point. Not Canon is right!
we need a real TWD comic that shows the real Clementine. #notcanon
1000% agree! Or another season of the game? Honestly, they could’ve left it how it was - the final season had a great ending. #notcanon is right!
@History Lover seems like Dom kinda agrees, based on some of his community posts lol

this ain't Clementine. that's Tangerine!
Haha that’s her official name now!! I’m calling her that in the review!
I wonder why they change the style from the game it was already comic book style why change it to something else.
