I received this Candid Camera video yesterday and happened to have a dental hygiene appointment today. At the end of my appointment I showed the video to both my dentist and dental hygienist. They both loved it.
If I was one of the producers I would have done only one thing differently. I would have had the "dentist" offer to have the patient's comprehensive x-ray imprinted on the front of a t-shirt provided he/she had no new cavities. On the back of the t-shirt it would read, "I had no new cavities at..." Then the shirt would give the name of the dental practice, its phone number, and its web site.

I still cannot believe this version of Candid Camera only lasted a few years as it's so outrageously funny. Peter Funt is better at doing, being the straight man than is Dad was, who I believe was the originator of the show. The camera comedy skits are so creative, and for me the only problem is the skits are too short and not enough time. But I think this version was a lot more expensive to produce than the 60's Candid Camera even after accounting for inflation, as I do notice they make a lot of various props for the skits.
The best one of all time is when Peter is interviewing Steve Marriuchi (sic), coach of the SF 49rs. Peter keeps interrupting the coach as he is answering the interview questions. Absolutely hilarious. But you are 100% right about Peter being the best. When he says "this is really for your protection," it just kills me, lol.

A funny bit with a "dentist", that I suppose would have worked as a Candid Camera skit, was when the brilliant and droll Tom Poston (as droll as Peter Funt) played the "Discount Dentist". He would wash his hands, pick up a folded paper towel from a stack, dry his hands, and carefully refold the paper towel and replace it on the stack. When looking into the patient's mouth, he was having trouble seeing. He said, "It looks like I'm going to have to turn on that big light. That'll cost a little more." And so on.

I'm sitting in the hospital being ignored again... 20 hours now with now food & 13 hours now with no drink... The same nurse from last week who ignored me for hours is doing it again! I've also been lied to about housing & assistance. I ask them to paige my doctors & then nothing but crickets ...

One of the three nurses has been fires or on suspension & she kissed my ass after but no room in my opinion from r those who violate basic hippocratic oath in healthcare. Healthcare workers are fully allowed to dislike me but they are requires to not let determine how they treat me. Thank you. I'm battling cancer and Im good at surviving just about everything tossed my way! I can!

Then I tell god " if you are real and let the Nazis poison me, then steal my dna along with thousands of more " nazism " crimes then make sure I survive this & that suffering blazes the trail for future victims to finally get humanity and liberation or I'm gonna pissed when I finally meet you ... God if ur real! But either way I'm feeling very positive about the outcome. If I did it'll be with a smile on my face because I shook down those Nazis on the west coast more than anyone individual in history. I had help but I was alone.on the front line so I am.safe to say " I fought the police, the FBI, & Nazis & I won " So thank you. Now it's time for me to just be me again.
