    It's still baffling how CEO's still abuse their power and take advantage of innocent young people. It's unfair and should be monitored more througholy otherwise it will just continue in a cycle

    Since you are doing stories around small labels abusing their idols please consider doing a video on ATEEN. They were a 10 member group and 6/10 sued their CEO for sexual assault. Another sad fact is that one of the members came from an abusive company (NA Ent and INX) and ended up once again in an abusive company.
    Their history is absolutely gut wrenching especially since we don't know what happened next.

    Yeah and Spire, TS, and Media Line are examples on why you should be careful when signing with an agency regardless their size. LPA and Maroo can also be another example especially if ur a woman.

    Ah lpa entertainment.
    I actually auditioned and had talked to the ceo via kakaotalk
    He was very blunt and I thought it was because he was the ceo and was busy.
    He had a set time where I had to message him.
    Every week he wanted 1 dance video, 1 vocal video and body measurements.
    I even had to write a thousand word letter stating why I wanted to be an idol.
    He very very odd so I decided to stop contacting him and gave up being apart of their company.

  • @iGotBulletproof-Insomnia
    @iGotBulletproof-Insomnia 2 года назад +25

    I think these sort of things are more commonly exposed in smaller agencies because the trainees and idols in question are less afraid of them. They don't have a lot of power to hold over them. Maybe the debts are smaller. But it seems like idols are less afraid of the power these companies can hold over them.
    I also think this sort of thing happens often because the kids signing with smaller agencies have a sort of desperation. They have probably already auditioned for larger and more popular companies and got rejected. Maybe they don't have the faith in themselves to succeed in an audition with those companies or even got kicked from the company. Possibly the price of training is too expensive. The smaller agencies are their last chance to debut and the CEOs are well aware. When you're in the mindset of "I can debut if only I do 'this thing,'" you're more likely to ignore red flags. I say this as someone who has very nearly fallen into scams a couple of times because of how badly I wanted something (i.e., to leave an oppressive household, a job after six months of unemployment, etc)

    I did some design/art work with LPA for their group Dustin, and I regularly spoke with their manager in dms on Twitter- from talking to the group on a video call they all seemed very nice, some more than others, but the manager kind of had a strange vibe sometimes, the way she talked about them and talked to me didn’t always sound very professional….I wasn’t too surprised to find out about her weird crush and obsession with that one member :// she’d brag about going to dinner with him and stuff and it seemed very unprofessional the way she did it like ??? i always felt like there was something strange going on in that company, but this shocked me…I hope all the girls involved are doing okay now and that company should be shut down for good, it’s a scary situation honestly
    also, i hope one of the rappers from dustin stays in the industry, he’s so talented that i immediately thought he deserves to be in a bigger group at a better company, seriously and he has good visuals too

    So Angelrus didn't ask for nudes, i dont see anything odd here? I was in a few soap operas when I was younger and did some model work, every audition had lines of people in underwear for frontal, sides, and back shots. Some scenes in soaps involved lying asleep shirtless, beach scenes, etc etc so it never seemed weird auditions would ask for that. I was active from ages 16 to 21 and IMO the CEO doesn't seem to be doing anything odd, any casual walk past Victoria secret in any mall and you will see women in their underwear. It's not like he was asking for lewd poses or exceptionally revealing underwear.
    Am I missing something?

      You are missing the point ofconsent without duress.

    • @MA_KA_PA_TIE
      @MA_KA_PA_TIE Год назад +1

      @Kagayaki Akira Ch. (かがやき あきら) yes they are singers, but lets be honest kpop doesn't only sell music. Kpop is very into selling idols that are very beautiful. And if they are not comfortable with generic photos in what they would wear to the beach then perhaps they are in the wrong profession? Like if you are not comfortable with confined spaces you shouldn't be a coal miner. Many outfits female idols wear are not that much more concealing thana generic one piece bathing suit. It would be one thing of the ceo was asking for thongs to be worn or frontal with just pasties for bra, but it sounds like the girls were asked for generic beach wear a woman would wear during a family trip to the beach.
      Is there any evidence the photos asked were any more revealing than typical family friendly women's beach wear?

    • @MA_KA_PA_TIE
      @MA_KA_PA_TIE Год назад

      @@xxonspotlight Nobody was forcing the girls to do anything. The company asked and the girls could have refused and walked out at any time. There was no gun to their head. If they didn't like the company they could have left at any time to switch places of employment. What duress was there? The same amount of duress if you work at a restaurant and don't want to scrub a toilet, do it or quit. That is not duress that's.
      Ceo should have had all of this spelled out and explained in their contracts. If he should be punished for anything it's not explaining what would be required of the girls and get their written consent to those requirements and expectations.

    • @andredrw289
      @andredrw289 Год назад +11

      @@MA_KA_PA_TIE it’s the fact that you’re asking minors to do it, it’s basically child porn. Who knows what he was using those pictures for, that’s the problem. And while yes no one held a gun to their head to do it, the company is using their dreams of being an idol hostage if they didn’t. You don’t hear about any of the bigger companies asking for full body shots of their trainees almost fully nude do you?

    • @MA_KA_PA_TIE
      @MA_KA_PA_TIE Год назад

      @@andredrw289 So every image of girls 5 to 17 on Facebook at a beach in a standard 2 piece bikini is child prn? That doesn't make sense. If he were asking the girls to get on all fours for photos, bending over, wear thongs/see through underwear you might have a point. But standard front, side, and back standing shots of girls 14+ is anything but kiddoprn. You can go to almost any catalog or website that sells bathing suits for that age bracket and see that. Heck you can go to almost any real girl that age and see pictures like that on Instagram or Facebook.
      I really don't see the egregious part of what they were asking for. If they asked for see through/extra small underwear or sexualized unprofessional poses please show me where they did and I will grab a pitchfork and join the mob to kill the monster. But as I said I did modeling and acting when I was 16 to 21, at auditions I'd be in lines of 20 other dudes in boxers taking the exact same photos as was asked by this ceo to be looked at by casting for job selection. Was the most common when it was for a music video that would take place by the pool and they needed teenage extras having fun in the background.
      I just don't see what everyone is getting so worked up about.
