That is the first time I ever heard of a car with a windshield that goes up and down...amazing. This is the second time I heard someone call an MGB roadster a GT. I have owned a few of each and I believe only the factory non-removable hardtops are called GTs. Great show...thanks for posting!

The Healey "Silverstone" has a similar feature.
The MGA Twin Cam did not appear until July 1958 so a '56 would be rare.
